Tread floors you don't fall

-Ellie Goulding

I'll bet it's eating you inside, not knowing who I am.

But I've always been anonymous, and it should stay that way.

My sister is still here, and she's planning to stay for a while, it seems.

Unfortunately I have to give up my room, since I'm only one, and she's two.

So here I am, stuck in the basement.

With only my own thoughts to keep me company.

And the deafening heater, of course.

I pulled an old mirror out of the attic today, complete with cobwebs and all.

It has an elegant golden frame, encasing the stained mirror it holds.

I'm going to get it appraised tomorrow, my mother suggested it.

I would rather not know, however.

I don't need to know, I like it how it is just fine.

I have to go to the store soon, to buy a few needed necessities.

Maybe I'll get my room back after all.
