"I've been trying to keep my grip
I think I'm over this"
-Bad Suns
I had the letter in my hand.
My mom had handed the letter to me.
When I opened it I was shocked.
I had to bite down on my knuckles to keep from screaming or crying.
My mom asked me what was wrong.
I just shook her off.
I walked down the stairs to my bedroom, and tripped on the fifth step.
I tumbled down the stairs, and landed on my bad ankle.
But I couldn't care less.
I was in shock.
My sister ran to the top of the stairs, holding her oversized belly in one hand, and a spoon lathered in chocolate in the other.
She asked if I was okay, and I said yes.
I limped back to my bedroom, and laid down on my bed, and sobbed.
This couldn't be happening.
I picked up my phone, and dialed the number of the clinic.
Someone picked up on the third ring.
I reminded her that I was a prior patient, and that I had just gotten my results, and she set up an appointment for next week.
I looked down at my feet, and said yes.
My stomach twisted itself into knots.
I hung up and wrote the day on my calendar.
May 13, 2013.
I wouldn't get my room back if I could help it.

Can you guys guess what's going on with her?
I guess I'm just trying to make it discreet.
For the person that gets it right I'll dedicate the next chapter to them!!
