To all my dearest readers,

We have officially come to the end of Brick by Brick!

It has been an extremely long and fruitful journey. I don't think anything I say here can fully express how grateful I am for all your support! I especially loved the comments and encouragement that some of you gave me. Thank you for picking up my work and adding it to your reading lists, private or not.

Frankly speaking, I am really happy that I took my first baby steps as a writer.

Brick by Brick started off as a casual story, one that I impulsively decided to write when I had nothing better to do. Never did I expect it to be something that I would actually see through to the very end. Don't get me wrong! I'm really glad I did!

Writing is actually not an easy thing. I figured it out the hard way when my story derailed from the original purpose I had in mind. (Note to aspiring writers: Always plan before you write!) Because of that, I've had many bad cases of writer's block and struggled really hard before managing to salvage the second half of the story with a (hopefully) better plot than the first.

I have contemplated long and hard on whether I should title the last chapter as the Final Chapter. I know the feeling every time this happens. (Or at least I think most of you would react the way I did)

You scream internally (or into the pillow). Your hands tremble as they scroll slowly down the screen. Every word and sentence is read with care, absorbing every single nuance of the story. You scroll down, hoping that the next sentence is NOT the last.

But eventually you hit the point where you can't scroll down any more, and you know it truly is the end.

Or is it?

It occurred to me as I was writing the final chapter that this story started off with a prologue. And every story that starts with a prologue should always end with an epilogue.

Yes.

Yes, it should.

Therefore, I have decided to add one more little tidbit of fluff and juiciness for all of you who had followed me all the way to the end. There will be an epilogue dedicated to anybody who clicks follow, and because it's a private chapter, you won't be able to see it until you do so. It is not necessary to read the epilogue if you really don't want to, because I think it will be something similar to a one-shot.

You can also un-follow immediately after you've read the chapter. I just really wanted to give a treat to my dedicated followers.

I need some time to write it though, so be patient with me.

As for those of you who mentioned wanting to translate the novel to other languages, thank you so much for asking! I'm humbled by your requests.

Once again, a big thank you to all you lovely readers out there. I hope you would check out my other works and give them a chance!
