Chapter 12: Day At The Mall Or...

~Kennadie's POV~

Ahhh, let's watch 21 Jump Street.

I was watching the movie and then I heard a know on the door. I got up and opened the door to see Justin standing there with a orange rose.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked letting him come in

"Well, this is for you because I know it your favorite flower and I came to ask my beautiful girlfriend if she would like to go to the mall with me." He said smiling and handing me the rose.

"Thank you. and 2 things. 1. I have to change, again. and 2. my sister and her 4 friends asked me to take them to the mall in like 2 hours." I said taking the rose and putting it in a vase with water on the counter.

"Tell them that we are leaving now. and you're fine. you don't need to change." he said wrapping his arm around me.

"Fine. GIRLS!!! COME HERE PLEASE!!!." I said. I gave Justin a kiss and walked over to the living room. I turned the tv off and turned around to see all the girls around Justin. He looked at me with a help-me-or-ill-die look. I laughed.

"Girls. back off." I said and walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him.

"He's hot. Who is he?" Mackenzy asked looking at me.

"Well, heismyboyfriend. Now let's go." I said and slipped on my black flip flops and grabbed my purse and keys and took Justins hand and walked out of the house.

They all looked at me like I was crazy. "Are you coming or what?" I asked standing by my car.

"Yeah." they all mumbled. Wow, for 10 year olds they sure are weird.

"Okay, well 2 or 3 of you have to go with Justin in his car since our cars are not big enough." I said getting in my car. My sister and 2 of her friends got in my car and her other 2 friends got in Justins.

I looked over at him and he winked at me. I smiled and started my car and reversed out of the drive way. Justin was right behind me the whole time.

"Okay, seriously, who is he? He is really hot." Mackenzy looked at me and said.

"I told you at the house. He is my boyfriend." I smiled and kept my eyes on the road

"You know, Sarah and Christy are gonna hate you even more now and moms going to be mad." she said looking out her window. I know she tried to say it quietly so I couldn't year it, but I did. That really hurt.

"I heard that." I said glancing over to her.

"I'm sorry. But you know its true. But I do want to ask you something." she said grabbing my hand.

"I've never lied to you and I never will so go ahead and ask." I said squeezing her hand gently.

"Why do they hate you?" she asked.

Her friends were quiet so I looked back to see them both talking and looking at their phones.

we pulled up.to the mall and I parked my car. I looked directly into her eyes and said, "I really don't know. They've been like that since dad... you know. And he gave me his car. But if its that then I don't know what to do. they have way better cars than me. I never did anything to them." She just nodded her head.

We all got out of the car and Mackenzy came over to me and gave me a huge hug.

"What was that for?" I asked and started walking to the front of the mall.

"I just wanted to give you a hug. Thank you for telling me. I want you to know that, I will never hate you. There is no reason to. Also, even if you did do something or I did something in the future, I know we will both get over it because we love eachother that much." she said

"Who taught you to speak like that.?" I asked.

"Someone I like to call my favorite sister." she said pointing at me.

"Awe. I love you." I said and gave her a hug.

"Love you too. Now come on, they're all waiting on us." She said, pointing to everyone.

I walked over to them and Justin grabbed my hand.
