"He jumped! He's in the back yard!"
The one officer called from upstairs. The other officer ran to the back door and ran outside. The one from upstairs ran downstairs and out the back aswell. After about ten minutes they came back. They said they lost him. The one called my dad to explain everything. The other was talking to me.
"We've had a similar case a few months ago, a man was in some kids bedroom and attacked. Luckily the kid got out alive but we couldn't catch the man. Unfortunately the kid is dead now. You and your dad should stay at another house for a while, just until it's safe enough to return. We don't want you to be the next one dead before we catch this maniac."

We stayed at my aunts a few blocks away that night. My dad was caring for me and reassuring me like crazy. He told his work that he'd have to go back to his old hours so he could drive me to and from school.

It's been 6 days since the incident and I haven't seen the man at all but I know he's out there and what if he's been watching me? I woke up in the middle of the night tonight; 3:06, and I couldn't go back to sleep. I turned my body to face the wall. Not long after I heard my door slowly creak open and I was horrified.

It closed so maybe it was just my dad checking on me. But I knew something was staring at me. I knew it was close. And I knew it was him. After about 15 mins I started thinking that it must have been my dad and just to sleep. I felt my bed bulge down as if something we're climbing onto my bed. I was paralysed again. It was on all fours, and I was right under it. It's right arm lifted up (I could feel the part of the bed lift) and I heard rustling of what I assume to be it's pocket. I wanted to move and I wanted to scream but instead I lay there quiet. I feel a long sharp object pierce my lung. My eyes shoot open. I begin coughing blood and trying to run but I can't. Breathing is very difficult when one of your lungs is filling with blood.

I fall to the floor and the pain got worse. I'm on my stomach coughing blood and I get stabbed in the back, and into my stomach. I just wanted the pain to end. Just do it. You win. He stabbed me at least 4 more times in the torso and stomps on my knee, shattering it. Seconds after, my eyes fade to black.
