Chapter 6

(Maria's POV)
I ran behind some other kids, some that has popped up to help with the fight. Then I heard a gun shot, pain shot through my leg and whimpered in pain. I kept running, I had to get to the hospital.

~lil time skip~

I raced to the entrance of the hospital, slowing to a limp as I neared.
"May I see Lafayette please?" I asked the lady at the front desk. She nodded and I thanked her and walked to his room. I entered and saw him awake.
"Maria!" He exclaimed happily.
"Hi Lafayette, how are you feeling?" I asked as I pulled up a chair and sat down next to his bed.
"I'm feeling ok, just a little worried, those two fell asleep." He pointed to Hamilton and Laurens.
"It's nice to know your ok." I said, laying my head down on his hospital bed.
"Where's Mulligan?" He asked, worry edging his voice.
"We all got scattered, I'm sure he's fine, me on the other hand," I remembered the bullet in my leg, "I have a bullet in my leg..."
Lafayette looked at me with worry.
"I'll be fine, promise." I said. He still looked worried. I laid my head back down on his bed and ended up falling asleep.
I woke up to see Mulligan laying on the floor, Hamilton teaching Laurens Spanish that he had missed for a day that he was sick for. Lafayette was on his phone and seemed to be healing fast. Did I mention I had gotten moved to the little comfortable couch that was in the room. I sat up at stretched.
"Morning Maria." Lafayette said.
I waved my hand in response.

Hey I wanted to make this chapter showing that I am still alive, school is fun. So next week is my spring break and I'm going on vacation which means I won't be able to upload, but I will write more chapters if I get inspired. Well that's it for this chapter! Stay safe lovelies!
