"Okay, O'Conner," Dom says over the speaker, "give it your best shot."
We watch the screens, and the first one barely gets the edge of the car.
The second one doesn't catch him at all.
The third gets the headlights, and the fourth doesn't catch him.
He stops the car and gets out.
"How was that one?" He asks.
"First and third cameras got you," Damien says, looking down at the footage.
"What?!" Brian says, near slamming the door of the car.
No one ever said he had a good temper.
"Yeah, they still got you," Han says, eating a chip.
"I was milking the hell out of that, too." He says, walking up the steps.
"We're gonna need a faster car," Dom says.
Gisele gets up and tries the silver car.
While she's driving Han is watching, surprisingly holding off on eating chips.
"I think i'm in love," he says.
"Your not just in love, your whipped," Damien says.
"Shut the hell up," Han says while everyone laughs.
Gisele pulls the car to a stop and gets out.
"That was real solid work, I think camera three still caught you though," Roman says. Gisele looks at him.
"That was like the fifth time," She says, holding the car door.
"Lorea," Dom says and I look up.
"Yeah?" I say.
"Go try your car." Hes talking about the Dodge Viper I got about a month of being on the run.
I get up and walk over to the red car with a black stripe going over the entire car.
The car has obviously been tuned to no end and is faster than ever. I pull up to the start, shift gears, and floor the gas. When I get to the first camera, its a hard right corner, and I make the turn seamlessly. I don't know if the camera got me though.
The second camera is easy, so all I have to do is drift it fast enough, and I should be good.
The third corner is probably the hardest, it's the hair pin.
I get close enough and floor it, spinning the steering wheel as fast as I possibly can while still keeping in control of the car.
The fourth camera is the same as the second, so I drift it and drive out of the track and stop the car.
When I get out Roman, Brian, Damien, and Tej are crowded around the screens looking at the footage. I stand behind the door.
"Would anyone like to tell me why you're all crowded around the screens?" I ask. The four look at me.
"How?!" Roman says.
"How what?" I ask.
"None of the cameras caught you," Dom says.
Waaiiitttt.
Did he just say what I think he did?
"Your kidding right?" I say, shutting the door and walking up the stairs and over to the screens.
"Nah, none of em caught you," I look at the footage and smile, seeing no car on any of the cameras from the footage of me driving.
"Damn," Brian says, looking over the footage.
---------------
Leo, Santos, and Brian take a piece of wood off a huge box and carry it off to the side. They set it down and come back and look at whats in the box. Roman rips the plastic off.
"Now, where in the hell, did ya'll get one of these?" Tej asks.
"We had a life before you met us," Han says.
"Alright," Tej says, shaking his head to himself, "Ill get to work on the electronic tumbler, but we still got one problem."
"What's that?" I ask.
"Palm scanner," he says, motioning to the dark rectangle on the safe, " without Reyes' hand-print, Houdini himself couldn't open this bitch."
"How do you know its Reyes' hand-print?" Leo asks.
"You got a hundred-million dollars in a safe and you gonna put somebody else's hand-print on it?" Tej says, and Leo nods.
"How we supposed to get Reyes' hand-print?" Roman asks.
Everyone looks at each other for a minute.
"Han," Dom says, "you're up."
"Sure," He says, backing away and leaving the group, "I like the easy stuff."
"I'll drive," Gisele says, walking next to him.
Everybody shares a look as they walk away.
So thats going to happen.
