Chapter 7: Cold Snap

"W-Who the heck is Pitch? What are you doing in my house?" I exclaimed frantically, starting to feel the real reality of the situation. 

The boy shook his head. "There's no time to explain, we need to leave" He replied, taking hold of my cold hand. 

I jerked it back. "What do you think your doing? I can't just leave! My parents are going to think I was kidnapped, I have to stay" I said looking around the war torn house.

      The boy put his hand on my shoulder and turned me around so that I was facing him. "Are you crazy? Pitch is after you! He wants something from you and I don't know what it is, but he will probably kill you to get it! You're in huge danger!" He yelled, his blue eyes darkening in anger.

"H-How can you say that?" I shouted glaring at him. "None of this is real!"

"You saw the horse didn't you? You can see me right?" He asked, searching my eyes for an answer.

"Y-Yeah; I guess?" I replied, not breaking my eye contact with him.

"Then this is all real" He said. The realization hit me hard. He was right, I was living a reality and not a dream.

I shook my head. "I'm not leaving my family" 

He let go of my shoulders and tightened his hold on his stick. "Pitch may have gotten to them already,"

"What!" I covered my mouth with my hands.

"I don't actually know for sure ok? But Pitch won't stop until he gets what he wants, he's evil and extremely dangerous and he will kill to succeed" He replied, his tone serious.

"What does he want from me? How could could he do this to my family?" I stuttered, shaking in fear.

His bright blue eyes lit up suddenly. "Your powers" He whispered.

"What?" I asked, looking up at him.

"Pitch wants your powers, he can use them; for evil" He replied putting his pale hand onto his chin, thinking hard.

I looked down at my hands. He wanted my powers? He trashed my house and hurt my family for my powers? 

I groaned loudly causing sharp shards of ice to come shooting out of my palms, the shards crashed onto the floor and exploded, causing ice to fly around the house.

"Elsa, you need to calm down" The boy said, taking my hands and holding them in his. 

I looked up at him. "H-How do you know my name?" 

He gave me small smile, his blue eyes twinkled softly. "I'm your guardian, I know everything about you" He said.
