Chapter 12: Frost Part 2

Jack's POV

 Jack was afraid.

He was afraid of facing Pitch again. He was afraid of Elsa. He was afraid of himself.

He still couldn't remember his human memories. How could Elsa do something like this? How were his lips still tingling from their kiss? He couldn't stop thinking about it, it made him feel a happiness he hadn't felt in a while; what was Elsa doing to him? He didn't want to stay around her, she made him feel surreal and airy; he didn't like the feeling. But what hurt him the most was how she didn't feel what he felt for her. She didn't even care that he saved her life; it made him feel useless. He couldn't shake the guilty feeling of leaving her begging for him to stay in the field though; it made his heart hurt, he wanted to be with her so badly.

Jack then remembered what Pitch did to Sandy and his heart stopped. He didn't want to see Pitch again; he wouldn't be strong enough to beat him, he would hurt Elsa. Not bringing her to him was like saving her life.

Jack leaned back in the tree he was perched on and closed his eyes. Why couldn't he forget about Elsa? He'd even had dreams about her before he was a guardian. He never understood why she was always there, smiling and laughing when he closed his eyes, but now he did; it was fate.

His eyes shot open. Fate, he thought.

Suddenly, a sharp pain errupted his mind. He held his head in his hands and groaned loudly. He could hear voices.

"I'll make you a deal Elsa. If you help me rule this stupid, useless planet; I will give you back your family. With your powers and my powers we can make this world better; but only under my control. If you say yes; this planet will be ours" One voice said.

Jack froze; he could spot out that voice anywhere; it was Pitch. Jack then listened closely for a response.

"Yes." Elsa replied, her voice crashing through his body.

The pain then suddenly dissapeared. Jack's body stood at a stand still. He couldn't move or speak; he was numb.

"Elsa," He whispered.

Jack flew out of the tree and sped back towards the field.

He prayed softly, but agressively in his mind for Elsa to still be there, to be still be safe; to still be wanting him to come back for her.

But when he came to a stop at the field; his heart dropped and he screamed.

Elsa was gone. Pitch had her. He was going to kill her too.
