Whispers
echoed down the crowded hallways.
The girl frowned,
looking behind her.
The people behind stared
at her too-tight shirt,
too-short skirt.
She simply turned back
and walked off to her next class.♥
She looked down at her test, confused.
She had studied,
so why were her grades so bad?
Another girl glanced at her paper,
then at her with disgust.
That's what you get if you spend your time
being a slut instead of paying attention.
Laughter.
She's not helping blondes' reputation at all.
She looked away with tears in her eyes.♥
The girl walked into the library,
looking for another book to read.
Someone saw her.
He followed her, afraid to speak.
She didn't notice.
She was checking her book out now.
You have a nice taste in books;
I love that one.
She looked back and smiled at the boy,
walking out without a word.♥
She sat in bed, her laptop on her lap.
It was safe here.
She was herself.
She stared at the notification icon, and opened it hesitantly.
A smile found its way to her lips.
Her fingers clicked the keys on the keyboard
and words appeared on the screen.
My day was great. How was yours?
