Tough Luck [The Irregular At Magic High School]

Rising.

"Well, he did told me to take a left turn here..." said Miyuki, looking at the piece of paper the old man gave. "BUT WHY AM I IN A DEAD END OF NOWHERE?!!" 

Looking around, she didn't see any stores or signboards. She's surrounded by huge walls of apartment buildings. She sighed, knowing she's lost now at an unknown place. 

"I guess I'll just ask around..." thought Miyuki.

All of a sudden, she heard a menacing growl at the corner of a building. Instinctively, Miyuki brought out her CAD and point it towards the corner. Ready to use magic when needed.

The growling continued until a few stray dogs appeared from the corner, eyeing Miyuki with great anger. She must have disturbed them with the scream earlier.

"N-n-nice doggie, doggie," Miyuki said softly, backing away slowly hoping that they will calm down and leave her alone. "N-nice doggie---" And the dogs strolled towards her with vicious looks in their eyes.

One of them suddenly barked at Miyuki.

Miyuki being scared, accidentally let out her magic to the group of stray dogs. It didn't harmed any of them but it had made them even more angry. They barked even more and started dashing towards her.

Without further thoughts, Miyuki did what was necessary to save her life. 

She ran!

"What's wrong with my luck today?!!" she cried in her heart, tears of fear started to stream down her eyes. "First, the door. Then, the floor. The dead end. NOW, THIS!"

The worst part was yet to happened...

As Miyuki kept running, she managed to gain quite a distance from the stray dogs. She wanted to use magic, however she's not the type of person who wanted to harm animals and she's not mentally prepared for this. Unfortunately, when she was almost on the verge of exhaustion her bad luck kicked in again. 

She again tripped, over a rock on the pathway. 

"Oh no!" she shrieked. She turned her head to look behind her. The dogs were still chasing after her fiercely. With a few more steps, two dogs jumped towards her.

She closed her eyes not wanting to look at what's going to happened next...
