"You wanna be a horror story writer?" She scrunched up her nose.
"No! What I am saying is perfectly real."
For the past hour, I was trying to convince Kathy that what happened was real.

I don't know if what I was doing the right thing or not, but I needed someone to talk to.

Stiles,Rowan or, Liam as supportive and calm(minus Stiles) they were, I was not feeling free as I would feel after sharing something with Kathy.

"Oh, okay!" Kathy stood up and faced me. "I get it."

"Thank God, You know I was so stressed-" I started but she cut me off.

"You are playing a prank on me" She glared at me.

"What? No!" I said, exasperated
.
"I think you should go home and rest. And please stop watching thrillers for a while." She stated.

I needed supportive friends.

I decided to give up and go home.
Home? Oh god! Please help a poor tortured soul and kick the son of satan if he is still there.

There is nothing there Lydia. Stop turning around.
And fasten your steps.

I so regretted not staying at Kathy's, and deciding to go home.
Yes, it was dark and frightening and I was not looking forward to walking 20 minutes to my house. Cause my paranoid brain was forging scenarios I so did not need.
It was as if where ever I would go bad luck follows me around like a puppy.
Well, puppies are cute but bad lucks not.
I snorted at that thought.

God, I must be going mad laughing to myself.

Crack.
T

hat was a twig snapping.

Why are there damn twigs in the city?? Those are supposed to be in jungles!
I started to hear footfalls as I walked. I fastened steps not wanting to be stuck in the dark with anything.
As I sped up, I could hear the footfalls also speedening and getting closer.
I took a sharp right, and went into bright lit street hoping to lose whoever was following.
The terror had me gripped and I could not think straight.
Suddenly, the footfalls stopped.
I paused, afraid to look around.

Now this is the part where the heroine of a horror movie get kidnapped or killed. My rationality told me not to stop but curiosity won. I slowly turned around to find myself alone on the street. As the street was brightly lit, I could see every nook.
Nobody was there. I sighed, relieved. Maybe it was just my imagination. There were no footfalls anyway.
And due to my creative brains, I took the longer route to home.
I turned around to continue my way back home.
Only to come face to face with a creature who had red face and shining yellow eyes.
It was smiling (I think) and his razor sharp teeth like that of sharks glinted in the streetlight
I screamed.
Maybe even Lucifer heard it.

I ran away from the beast, and took a right again that lead to my original path. From here my house was closer but it was darker. I hoped that maybe it could not see me in the darkness and leave the hell alone. I ran till I was panting and was struggling for oxygen. I stopped not able to run more.
I looked back again. It was silence. Still not taking a risk, I continue running towards my home. Fortunately my house was only by a block away now. I still felt that someone was watching me.
And this was not a paranoid feeling.

A/n the beast is above.
