"Remember, shoot first, ask questions later," John uttered to Dean for what seemed like the millionth time. The front door slammed shut, and the black SUV could be heard leaving the shabby motel behind.
"Off to bed Sammy, school tomorrow," Dean told his little brother. He tucked Sam into bed and sat down on the sofa, the tv blaring in the background. He was thinking about dropping out of school, but he couldn't just abandon his brother. Sammy loved school, so Dean would do anything to make sure that he had the greatest high school experience, even if it meant risking his own teen years.
