Coffee. Coffee can be a wondrous, yet a horrible thing. It just depends on what you're using it for. It was the week before we let out for spring break, honestly I don't understand why we have it, considering nothing happens but parties, vandalism, and drinking, but whatever. I grab my phone, and walk out the door.•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
After arriving to class, I'm told that we have a new student joining the school, and he will be shown around by the most capable student. After he walked in, every single female student in the building raised their hand, and volunteered. Looking around to see him myself, we locked eyes. He had longish brown hair, forest green eyes, and he looked to be fairly tall and lanky at the distance from where I was sitting. He smiled, I made an attempt to give him a half-smile back. That's really odd of him, smiling at me. Even people who don't know me are rarely kind or pay attention to me. The professor is scanning the room, looking for someone who isn't trying to "hook" up with the new kid. His eyes keep scanning, and they lock on a girl without her hand raised. He motions to her, and she begins to walk down in front of the class. She starts talking to the professor, and he motions to new kid. She sees him, and begins to walk back to her seat. I will admit, I was very confused. He rubs the back of his neck, and I look back down to my computer. I thought for a minute I heard someone call my name, but I kept typing. "MISS JASPER THORNE", I heard him yell. I was either in trouble, or, well, I didn't really know until I was down there with the two of them. "Miss Thorne, this is Sebastian Leo Barnes. I will be assigning you to him as a tour guide, not a best friend." "Sir, I honestly don't see the point in you telling me his middle name, but I'll be compliant. By the way, you know for a fact most people don't want to be my friend in the first place, so there was really no reason in adding that last tid bit." He sighed, and left us to go back to his desk. "Hello there, I really don't wanna call you 'Miss Thorne', so can I know your name?" "He literally just announced it to the entire continent about five minutes ago." He laughed. Someone actually laughed at what I had to say. For some reason, it felt good. "You're pretty funny, but seriously what's your name?" "Jasper. It's Jasper." "Jasper, eh? that's pretty. Sounds kinda Greek." "Persian, to be exact. It's Persian."
