AN//: Again, this isn't 100%, I think once I get them to a certain place, I will be a lot happier with how things turn out. I have NO friking idea how about 90% of this stuff even appeared in my mind, it was just going to something sort of simple, and then 3 Mnt. Dews in at 5 oclock in the morning after not sleeping for an entire day and a half... well. Let's just say things happened and once I actually slept and reread it, I had no memory of writing ANY of it.Same goes for the next chapter. Any way, here it is.

Hannah is starting to panic now because Kol's scent is becoming weak, as is the other person he is with. By the smell, Levi can tell its Zach. She's never smelt anything like it.

Rain and pine and bonfires. There's also something there that is uniquely Zach, and to be blunt- It smells... AMAZING, and she's not going to deny it. Why should she? Just because he's the worlds biggest ASS, doesn't mean she can't like something that has nothing to do with his personality. Like his eyes too... Off point. On the small back road they pull on to, there is a house. The scent leads right to the front door, and something has Levi's hair on end. It's familiarity. But it's something else too.

Possibly the zap of power in the air.

She steps out of the car cautiously, and walks up to the front door behind Hannah. She's not allowed to interfere with whatever Hannah has planned or is up to, and she's only allowed to help when Hannah asks. Levi still hasn't reveled what she's learned about herself, and about Hannah's father. She wonders if Hannah knows. Knows about her, about her father's plot for evil. But when she looks at her, there is no hint of evil or trickery in her eye. There is nothing about her that Levi fears or is cautious or scared of. She wonders if Hannah will help her find the place she dreamt of.

Hannah knocks on the door of the cottage that is really like a B&B. It's enormous, and funnily enough Levi can smell cooking bacon.

After a moment, an old lady comes to the door, looking ancient. Whiter than white hair and cloudy brown eyes. She's at least two heads shorter than Levi, and wears a brown native dress.

"Uh, h-hello. I'm looking for someone a-and I was wondering if he was here by any chance." Hannah asks nervously.

"Yes, yes I know. In, come in." the lady says, ushering them inside. They wind up in a living room that is really too big to be called a living room, but there is no other word. There is a fireplace that Levi can stand in without having to bend over, and just as wide. There are sofa's and arm chairs and side tables. There is a stair case on either side of the fireplace, and a small hallway leading to a large patio.

"It's beautiful." Levi says honestly, looking up at the painting of a completely black wolf with its paw raised in the air, as if it were going to slash something. The eyes are deathly calm, yet peaceful.

"Thank you Levi." the old woman says happily. Both Hannah and Levi freeze and tense.

"H-how do you know my name?" she asks, looking the woman over. The old lady smiles kindly with sympathetic eyes and shakes her head.

"This way. Kol left a note, the little cheater." the old woman sighs and waves them over to a counter in the back of the room, a single cash register sits idle.

The old woman steps in the back, humming quietly to herself. Levi looks up at Hannah with one eye brow raised. The lady never answered her. Hannah just shrugs and runs to get the note that the woman is pulling from the cash box.

"Um, so you know my name. Is it okay if I ask how?" Levi asks as she leans against the high standing bar. It reaches the middle of her rib cage.

"Yes." the woman replies neutrally.

"So? How do you know my name?" Levi asks, waiting for an answer, but the lady just looks her over with soft eyes and smiles.

"I never said I was going to answer." the old lady replies as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.

"Then why did you let me ask?" Levi retorts, growing slightly annoyed, but she could never been mean or rude or snippy to an old person.

"Because you wanted to." is the reply.

"Alright, so Kol says, among other things, that we should stay here for the night because they need time to get far enough away for the mating pull to start working properly." Hannah says scanning down the note.

"I already have your rooms." the old lady says happily.

"So, if you know my name, what's yours?" Levi asks, trying to deal with the fact she has to stay in the same house as this creepy old lady.

"Erica Desmon. Kol and Zach's family has been friends with mine since the beginning of time it seems." the old lady laughs, and Hannah looks over at Levi.

'Is she nuts?' Hannah mouths over Erica's back.

"No, not nuts, but maybe a little off my rocker." Erica chuckles and leads them up the stairs and into a separate hallway. They come up to a room almost. It's circular with one door and a hallway. The door, on the left, stands ajar.

The walls are marron; the floors are oak paneling. There is a room that is so familiar to Levi that her breath actually catches. It's a library.

The book shelves, which line the walls, are made of some type of dark oak wood, there are two plush lounge chairs made of weathered black leather. It's the window, though, that has her mind swirling. The ledge is more like a small bench. It's as long as her legs, and as wide as her body. The cover is marron, the throw pillows are black, and there is a snow white soft throw blanket folded and neatly placed on the end of the bench.

"Levi, where are you going?" Hannah asks, but Levi just lifts her hand and waves her off. Erica stands near the door, watching her like a hawk.

Levi walks up to the window and looks across the grounds. It's a small field that leads to an expanse of woods. There's a beautiful view of the mountains and the sun set must be spectacular from here. She sees little carvings on the wood that separates panels of glass. Carvings that look familiar. Levi traces a circular one with her finger and looks across the grounds. She can almost see a small child running around in the field back there.

"Lee, you alright?" Hannah asks, touching her shoulder. She shakes her head and lifts her hand from the window seal.

"Um, I'm fine. A weird kind of de-ja-vu." Levi says with a slight smirk and walks back out of the room. The old lady smiles at her as she walks from the room.

"Sorry about that." Levi says.

"It's no problem. That used to be a private library for a special family that stayed here. This entire section of the house was. It was a wife, her husband and their young daughter. She used to sit at that window there and watch the other kids as they played in the back yard. Her parents didn't let her play down there with them. It was too dangerous at the time." Erica tells them, leading them down the short hallway.

"Why was it dangerous?" Hannah asks, glad to have something taking her mind off of Kol.

"There was a Warrior coming for the little one. Her parents left a few days later, they were never heard from again, I'm afraid." The old lady sighs and looks down with a small watery smile.

"You may share a room, or have your own. It is up to you. Dinner is at 8, please be prompt. For now, it is just us and my granddaughter Milly. I leave you until then." Erica looks over at Levi one last time before walking away.

"Weird?" Hannah asks, watching the old lady walk away.

"Weird." Levi confirms, turning to look at the doors.
