The Written Test 'O Hell

"Begin!" Ibiki says. I lean forward to and read the first problem. Well, try to. It's in code.

Ok, then obviously I have to decipher it.

I glance at Naruto. He straightens up and starts to giggle, then puts his head in his hands.

We are soo dead.

I get to work on deciphering the code, and after 15 minutes, I'm done. I look through the rest problems, each one harder than the last.

Sakura's probably the only one who fully understands this crap! I got a headache after reading the second problem!

I read the second one again.

Line B in the diagram indicates the trajectory of a shurikan thrown at Enemy C by Ninja A seated atop a tree 7meters tall. Describe and formulate the trajectory required if C were positioned at points D, E, and F. Also predict the farthest possible range of the shurikan and explain how you arrived at your answer.

I sink farther into my chair.

I'm a failure. I think miserably. I feel someone watching me and glance over to see Kabuto smiling at me. I make a disgusted face at him and look back at my test. Stupid Kabuto, I bet he knows all the answers.

Wait I think sitting up. These are way too hard for Genin. Ibiki should know that most of us don't even know how to find the answers. So why would they put such hard questions?

I glance back over at Kabuto. He watches me, looking at me like I should know something. My eyes go wide as a thought comes to me. Kabuto smiles like I figured it out. I look back at my test.

Ibiki said "Anyone fool enough caught by the sentinels doesn't deserve to be here.". Anyone fool enough to be caught. They're not telling us not to cheat, he's expecting us to cheat!

Naruto starts to hit his head with both fists. I watch him for a second.

Well it's worth a try, especially since I don't want to end up like Naruto...

I slyly pull my pencil under the desk and take a breath.

There's only one way to cheat.

I gently stab the tip of the sharp pencil into my leg. I grimace from the pain, but keep on going. I tear the pencil threw my skin and make a summoning jutsu. When I'm done I touch my wound were the most blood is and make the hand signs.

Boar, dog, bird, monkey, ram! I think to myself as I make the signs under my desk. I put my hand on the summoning circle I had cut onto my leg.

"Kuchiyose no jutsu, Colorless Camillian." I whisper as silently as possible.

A tiny Camillian appears on my leg. Already knowing what he has to do, he goes into camouflage mode, and disappears off my bloodied leg.

In front of me, Naruto smashes his head down on his desk. I cup a hand over my wound and grimace. I glance at Kabuto and see he's watching my leg. Naruto and Hinata whisper in front of me, and Naruto leans towards Hinata. A kunai is thrown by one of the sentinels, and goes right between Hinata and Naruto. Naruto jumps away from Hinata. The kunai goes right past my head and hits the paper of the guy right behind me. Everyone freaks out, but mostly Naruto, me, The guy who's paper was maimed by a kunai.

"Hey! I was almost hit!" I yell outraged. They guy behind me gets up.

"Hey, what was that about?" He asks.

"Five strikes, and you're out." says the guy who held up the papers and smiled at Naruto before. "You just failed the test."

"What?! It can't be!" The kid says.

"You and your team mates are to leave the room immediately." He says. Two other kids stand up and walk down the stairs. The cheating guy's team mates.

"Candidate number 23, fail." A sentinel says. "Number 27 and 43, fail."

Naruto and Hinata whisper again, Naruto smiles, Hinata blushes, I sigh.

Those two. I think shaking my head.

"Number 59, you fail." One sentinel says.

"Numbers 33 and 9, fail." Another says.

Geeze, people are dropping like flies! Where is he?!

Suddenly, I feel something on my leg, and little Camillian prints appear in the blood from my wounded leg. I smile to myself.

"Release." I whisper. I ignore number after number being called out.

"Number 41, fail!"

"Numbers 35 and 62, fail."

As the Camillian poofs away, the answers I need flash in my mind. I quickly write them down. As I write, Kankuro raises his hand.

"what is it?" Ibiki says.

"Gotta use the can, sorry." He says, not sounding or looking very sorry.

A sentinel walks up to him, handcuffs him

"We go with you to make sure you're not up to anything." The sentinel says and leads them away.

"That’s perfectly understandable." Kankuro says smiling as he follows.

20 minutes later, I just get done with the 9 questions.

"All right." Ibiki says loudly. "Listen up! Here's the 10th and final question!"
