Lake, Pond, Ocean

I lay in bed for hours. Finally I get tired of it, and get up. I ignore my current attire, which is short shorts and a baggy black shirt that’s says "It's on like Donkey Kong!" in big green letters. I pull on my black converse and grab my guitar. I walk to the lake, and concentrate all of my chakra to the bottom of my feet. I walk out to the middle of the lake.

"I am a question to the world,

Not an answer to be heard.

All a moment that's held in your arms.

And what do you think you'd ever say?

I won't listen anyway…

You don't know me,

And I’ll never be what you want me to be.

And all of a sudden, I begin to laugh, and I can't stop. I don't know why I'm laughing, but it feels great!

"What are you laughing about?"

"Ahhh!" I yell. I lose my concentration on my chakra and plummet right into the water. I surface coughing and sputtering. I look over to the edge of the water and see Sasuke standing there. I swim over to him.

"How long have you been there?!" I ask outraged.

"Long enough to see you laughing." He says. He kneels down close to the water edge where I am. I smile evily, grab the front of his shirt, and pull him down. He falls into the water and I laugh. He resurfaces and glares at me. I stick my tongue out at him and he smiles.

"We haven't got to hang out since the exam started." I sigh.

"Yeah. Stupid Sakura and Ino won't leave me alone." He says ruefully. I giggle.

"You're soooo popular with the ladies." I say teasingly. Sasuke splashes water at me so I duck underwater and swim away from him. I only make it about half way across the lake before hands grab my waist and pull me up.

"Hahahahaha!!! That tickles Sasuke!" I yell and wiggle from his grasp.

I duck back under the water and slowly resurface, only enough to show my nose and above. I look at Sasuke and blow bubbles in the water. He blushes. I spring up and tackle him, we both go under water. I push him down farther, then use him to propel myself back to the surface. A moment later Sasuke comes up laughing.

"You're like a water nymph." Sasuke says. I laugh and lay on my back, floating. I keep shaking though.

"I'm not that good of a water nymph, can you come over here and help me float?" I ask.

"Sure."

Sasuke wades over, puts his hands underwater, and holds my head and back. I look up at the stars.

"They're so beautiful." I say. Sasuke looks up to.

"Yeah." He says softly. I sigh happily, close my eyes, and let myself be 100% happy.

"Alexis?" Sasuke says.

"Hm?" I say quietly.

"Do, do you know Kabuto?" He asks, hesitantly. My eyes fly open and I stand in the water.

"Why do you ask?" I say nervously.

"Well, you started to act weird when you saw him. You knew his last name."

"It was a lucky guess." I say pleadingly.

"Was it?" Sasuke asks. "You two stayed behind to "talk". You guys were always watching each other. When you and Naruto fell down the stairs, he sounded like he was your brother. After he had picked you up, he said "It wasn't like that". And he called you Alexis-Chan."

I look down at the water.

"What's going on Alexis?" Sasuke asks carefully.

"I can't." I whisper. I take a step away from him. "I can't."

"Alexis, how the hell does Kabuto Yakushi know you?"
