1~Meeting the gang

This is ma first time away from ma house, I 'ave no family ma mum 'an dad were killed in a car crash and I went to live with ma uncle, Montgomery Scott. Honestly I'm terrified of joining him on the enterprise because a lot of 'thins can go wrong 'an no one will be there to 'elp. Anyway I try to calm ma nerves as we approach the shuttle bay ready to depart for the enterprise

"Ar ya doing okay lassie?" my uncle asks me

"Aye uncle just a 'lil bit nervous,"

"You'll be fine the gang 'ar just like family to me,"

"Thank ya uncle," I say and give him a wee hug. We walk into a smallish shuttle and sit down before a guy checks everyone is 'ere.

"Is Montgomery Scott and Catriona Scott here?" he asks and ma uncle 'an me reply at the same time

"Aye sir," You could so tell I'm his niece can't ya. We waited for about 10 minutes before hearing the soft buzz of the engine firing up. This was it noo no turnin' back as we headed out of the atmosphere 'an into space.

"Lassie look its the Enterprise!" ma uncle exclaimed with excitement 'an I lean over him to take a look at the most beautiful ship I 'ave ever seen 'an I get to gerrup all close 'an personal with the warp core. I'm still staring out the window when ma uncle tells me that I need to sit down before we can land on the Enterprise, so I sit down and put the seatbelt/harness back on 'an wait to board the Enterprise....

"Scotty!" I hear someone shout 'an then I see him, it's Captain Kirk Don't freak out! I say inside ma head "Is this your niece you keep telling us about?"

"Aye sir this is ma fantastic niece Catriona," he replies beaming with pride 'an I just smile.

"well then Catriona I'm Jim, Captain Jim Kirk pleasure to meet you," he says smiling, god his eyes are a beautiful deep blue colour "Come, follow me and Ill introduce you to the rest of the crew,"

"Aye Captain," I say and follow him but he turns round and faces ma uncle

"God she sounds just like you, you can tell your related," he says smiling

"I get that a lot sir," I reply 'an we head to the bridge. We went through a series of corridors and lifts leading up to the bridge and Im left speechless as we walk through the door.

"Keptain on ze bridge!" I hear a Russian voice shout

"Thank you Mr Chekov, right can I have everyone's attention for a minute please," he shouts and everyone turns to face him "As you may know Scotty's niece will be joining us as our second chief engineer and Im proud to welcome Miss Catriona Scott to the enterprise,"

"hello guys nice to meet ya," I reply still smiling "I 'ave to admit I was a wee bit nervous about meeting ya all." I gave a final smile before being approached by a youngish looking gentleman with a pale complexion an' short black hair cut with bangs.

"Hello there Miss Scott," he says extending a hand out for me

"Please call me Cat," I say accepting his hand an' shakin' it.

"Okay then, Cat it is I guess I will see ya around," he says an' turns to walk away when I noticed his ears, okay that is a wee bit strange they were pointed but I kinda liked them but my train of thought was interrupted by another gentleman approaching me.

"Hello ma'am my name is Leonard McCoy but you can call me bones if you like"

"Awrite bones, I'll see ya around," I smile an' go to say hello to the two gentlemen an' a woman stood at the front of the bridge "hello guys I'm Catriona but ya can call me Cat,"

"Aye it's ze new girl," a Russian accent appears "my name is Pavel Chekov," he says smiling

"And I'm Uhura, nice to meet you" the woman softly spoke

"Hi I'm Sulu," the second gentleman says I could tell this would be the best times of my life with ma new family...
