Not being trusted...

It has been 5 minutes since my uncle left and I'm down in engineering checking readings on the warp core etc when I heard kirk's voice on the inter com

"Chekov how are we?" Chekov what's he doing here? I run over to the central desk to see him stood there wearing a redshirt

"What are you doing here Chekov?" I say

"Oh hello I'm ze new chief engineer" he replies

"Okay the. I say and reply to Kirk on the communicator

"Oh hello Kirk may I speak to you for a second before departure?"

"Erm yes I suppose come up to the bridge," he replies and I run through the corridors to the bridge "hello miss Scott what seems to be the problem?"

"Well where do I start... what the hell! why is Chekov the chief engineer? did you forget I was here! do you doubt what I can do just because I'm younger than the average crewman! You said the very first day I was here you said I was the second chief engineer!" I yell and everyone turns round

"Erm,"

"IS THAT ALL YOU CAN SAY DO YOU REALISE HOW THIS MAKES ME FEEL! THAT MY OWN CAPTAIN DOESNT TRUST ME!!! IM NOT GOING TO BLOW YOUR SHIP UP I KNOW WHAT IM BLOODY DOING!" I shout becoming infuriated

"Catriona I didn't mean to upset you it's just that Chekov is older," he simply replies

"CAPTAIN WITH RESPECT HE IS THE SAME AGE AS ME!"

"Well I'm sorry I didn't know that,"

"No that's not good enough I'm going to get my things and your going to transport me straight to my uncle okay!" I say still shouting

"Fine whatever you want be in the transporter room in 10 minutes," he says quietly

"Then I won't bother you anymore!" I shout walking out of the bridge and to my room to collect my things. First I change out of my red dress and into a jumpsuit with red triangles near the collar. I gather all my things and start to walk to the transporter room when I get stopped by someone.

"Miss Scott?" he says

"Spock I told you to call me Cat remember," I say back

"I'm sorry but I will miss you when you go I heard your little argument with the captain earlier, I found it quite amusing if I do say myself,"

"We'll I'm glad someone did," I snapped

"I'm sorry Cat and I believe you need to be somewhere, I'll keep in touch be safe," spock says giving me a quick hug and walks away. I walk into the transporter room and say to the guy sat at the desk "standby for coordinates," and stand on the transporter pad.

"Coordinates confirmed," he says

"Good, energise,"
