"BE MY GIRL"

"Mummy! Mummy! Mummy!" A little girl cries out loud as she lost the track of her mother inside the mall. "No! Mummy! Mummy!" She scream and wail inside and didn't bother if everyone's looking at her. Awhile ago, she was walking beside her mum, holding the hem of her mother's shirt when suddenly people started to walk in and surpass them that made the little girl let go of her mum's shirt. "Mummy! Where's my mummy! Please! Mum!" She screamed, wailed and cried out loud inside. She hysterically and repeatedly shouting the word mummy because she was really scared. Little did the child know that her mother was also looking for her. Nervous ran through her whole body as she lost her daughter inside the mall, where anything could happen to a 3 and a half year old child. "Mummy! I want my mummy! I want my mummy! Where's my mummy!" The child screamed, still crying out loud but still no sight of her mother approaching her until someone caught her attention and approached her.

"Hi." The tall paled skin girl brightly said which made the little girl cried more.

"Woah. She might be scared of you, Perrie." Leigh, her friend, said to her which made her slap her friend's hand.

"Shut up. You're gonna scare her more. Can't you see. She's lost. She's looking for her mother. Stupid." She stared to her friend before kneeling down so that she could talk to the little child who wouldn't stop to cry and wail inside the mall. "Hi. I'm Perrie and I'm not gonna eat you." She joked, just to make the little child giggle but failing at the end as the child didn't stop crying. "Sssh it's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm Perrie." She said, mentioning her name again, trying to gain the child's trust. The little child stop from crying for a moment, staring at the blue eyes that were owned by Perrie. "What's your name? Don't worry, we're not gonna hurt you. In fact, we're here to help you find your mum. Is that okay?" The child still didn't talk. Tears were again forming on her eyes and in any moment it would fall down so before it could happen, Perrie tried her best to gain the trust of the little child. "We're not gonna hurt you, sweetie. We're friends." She said, smiling brightly at the young child who stared back and forth to her and Leigh.

"Maybe her parents taught her not to talk to strangers, Perrie." Leigh said as she saw the scared look on the child's eyes.

Perrie stared at her eyes and it snapped her. It reminds her on someone in her past. "Sweetie, we're not gonna hurt you. We're not monsters. I'm Perrie and she is my friend, Leigh Anne. We're not bad guys. We're good guys." She lovingly said then gave the child a sweet smile. The little girl seemed to trust them so she stopped from crying but still didn't talk.

"You want us to take you on a chair while waiting for your mum to pick you?" Leigh asked which made the little child nodded at her and comply to them. Leigh sent her a smile and Perrie took her, carrying her in her arms and settled the child on the chair provided inside the mall.

"Here." Perrie said, handing the little child a bottle of milk which Leigh bought awhile ago but refuses to take it. "It doesn't have any poison, sweetie. You can drink it." She joked, trying to make the young child to giggle or laugh but failing at the end as the child gave her a glare.

"It doesn't have any poison, baby. I tried to drink one awhile ago. There's nothing to worry about." Leigh said, staring at the child's eyes which sent confusion to her as she saw something like that before. An old friend of her. The child seemed to trust them and took the bottle from Perrie.

"It doesn't have poison?" She asked, staring back and forth to Leigh and Perrie who both shook their heads to the young girl. The child nodded at them and started to drink it. Once she fully consumed the contents inside the bottle, they began to ask her question to help her find her mother.
