"So you think Carter did it?" Alex asks.
"No. He turned off the electricity." I tell him. Although Carter did cut the wires, I had a gut feeling that it wasn't him. And I really hoped that I was right.
Alex sighs. "Evan after questioning them while they were drunk, we don't have any leads except Carter."
I let out an exasperated sigh too. "Carter didn't do it!" I whisper, annoyed.
"Okay, okay." Alex says, eyeing my skeptically.
"Summer said that she felt murderous and angry when she came here." I state absentmindedly.
Alex looks at me. "She did?" He asks. I nod. He averts his vision to Summer.
"I don't believe she would actually follow through in killing somebody. But to be safe, don't go anywhere alone with her and get on her good side."
I nod and make a mental note to follow his instructions.
"What did everyone else say?" I ask him.
He sighs. "Colton and Hailey think you did it."
I almost choke on nothing.
"What?!"
He nods solemnly.
"But really? Why?" I ask. Why would I do it?
"Because you seemed so positive the killer didn't just go after girls. And Evan started saying that and he got murdered." Alex explains.
"But I wouldn't kill him." I say, my mouth open from shock. Alex nods.
"I trust you, Keira. I really do." He says.
He looks down at his napkin, the closest thing we could get to paper.
"What did Sarah say?" He asks.
I gulp. Sarah was the most confusing of them all. I should tell him what she did, though.
"Sarah was sober."
Alex pauses and his eyes widen. "What did she say?" He inquires.
"She said she knew what we were doing. And she promised that she wasn't the murderer. But she threatened me that if I ever tried to get her drunk again, she would kill me." I say, shuddering at her words.
"Don't listen to her, she's exaggerating." He assures me.
I nod. I don't think Sarah would actually kill me, right? Right?
Right. I turn to glance at everyone else. They're all chatting happily, not even caring about Evan's murder.
Carter runs in excitedly. "I saw the killer!"
We all look around. "Who? Who was it?" Everyone asks, murmuring nervously.
"I don't know, but it was a girl with light hair." He says. Everyone stares at the girls. We all have light hair.
It could be any of them. I survey Hailey, Sarah and Summer. They're all fidgeting uncomfortably. They've all been indirectly accused of murder.

"We need to talk." Dylan says, coming up to me.
"About what?" I ask sincerely.
He grabs my wrist and drags me out to the kitchen. I involuntarily roll my eyes as he does so.
"We haven't spoken much since we kissed." He says. I nod uneasily.
"What does that make us?" He asks.
I breathe. "I'm not sure, what I want to be with you, but we'll sort it out once this is over." I assure him.
He nods breathlessly.
"I really like you, Keira." He says, caressing my cheek. I blush. He's really sweet, now that I've noticed.
Before I can confirm or deny my feelings for him, he leans in to me and kisses me. I kiss him back, feeling some sparks in the kiss.
We're unable to continue kissing. He falls to his knees and clutches his abdomen.
"What's wrong?" I ask him fearfully.
He removes his arms from his sides to reveal blood and a knife lodged inside.
