Chapter 7: Are Promises Really Meant To Be Broken?

Bella's POV:

It was Saturday at last. I was getting ready for Kylie's party. I wore tie-dyed shorts, a plain white shirt, and wore my sky blue converse.

My mom dropped me off and I saw Kylie, Aubrey, Maddy (yep, I met the yesterday during lunch), and Skylar. We started swimming and sliding. I wonder where Karen was?

"Hey guys!!" I heard as I see a girl in her swimsuit jump in the pool. "AAAAAHH!" Aubrey screams as Karen wet her face with a big splash. We were all laughing so hard.

"Hey guys, I'm getting tired of swimming. Who wants to go to the playground?" I asked. "Great! I wanna remember some childhood activities" Kylie sighed.

We took a bath and admired each others outfits. Kylie was wearing a hipster-like muscle tank, grey shorts, and high-cut black converse. Aubrey was wearing a plain white tank top, a loose hoodie over it, black shorts, and black Vans. Maddy was wearing a pink sweater, a plain mint blue mini skirt, and pink flats. Sky wore a crop top that said "NERD" with a floral print, sky blue shorts, and black low-cut sneakers. Karen wore a sweater with an American flag print on it, a plaid skirt, and red flats. Lastly, I wore a lace top, light blue shorts, and white Sperry-Top Siders.

Running to the playground me and Skylar was laughing for some random reason. We decided to play tag for fun. Maddy was the "it" and chased Aubrey the most. She wasn't able to catch Aubrey so instead she ran to Kylie and got to tag her.

Kylie was running behind Sky and she didn't know so she eventually tagged her too.

Me and Kylie hid in the tube slide as everyone wasn't looking.

Kylie's POV:

Phew! At least got a chance to hide! Me and Bella started talking until Bella felt a push at her back, "Tag!!" Aubrey shouted with us not knowing that Aubrey had been tagged by Sky!

"Ouch!!! That hurts! You don't have to push me you know?!" Bella screamed running to the corner while crying.

"Wow, dude, I barely even put force and she's gonna cry already?" Aubrey whispered to us. It was true though, when Aubrey tagged Bella, I saw in her face that she barely got hurt. "Yah, I know, I remember she even promised to me she wouldn't cry anymore." Skylar added.

We all ran to her and tried to say sorry but it wouldn't work! Sky tried to make her laugh, and at the very least, she giggled and all of us laughed with her. "I'm really sorry Bella, I didn't mean to hurt you." Aubrey said. "You guys might have made me laugh, but that doesn't mean I forgive you. And I saw you guys whispering about me, so, that makes me not only mad at Aubrey, but the rest of you too. I didn't see Kylie whispering though, so I'm still okay with her" Bella replied.

It was getting pretty late at night so we left, even with a fight in between us.
