An unusual love

Chapter 1 - Change

The year is 2020, the world has changed a lot since 2017, the rise of BTS in the western side changed the world.My name is Polly, a 20 year old foreigner in South Korea. Life here is pretty diferent than back home, the language, culture and even time zone. Despite living here for a few months, I still haven't gotten used to this. I am currently working as a nurse in Seoul Hospital and in my free time I practise my singing, dancing.

Even though i am here a while now, besides my coleagues and my pacients, i dont have any friends here, everyone i had is back home or not currently here.

Today is august 24, two days before i make 21, and today is also the day BTS comes here and i go to their concert. Its five am, I am alone in bed thinking about everything that had happened until that moment. I take a shower, since i can't sleep and I put on a sun dress and a pair of converse.

While walking to the hospital, I see Mia the only person who made an effort of conecting with me, despite me being a foreigner.

Mia: Hey Polly morning how are you? 

Mia was smaller than me and a little chubby, but she was really sweet and lovely.

Me: Hum hey Mia, I am good, I just didn't slept That well...

Mia: Thinking about your concert tonight?

Me: Yeah.. I am just nervous about it, what if i cant say anything? 

Mia: Dont worry about it, I'll be there!!  So i'll keep an eye on you!!

We arrive to the hospital's entrance, and we separate, Mia goes to the E.R and I go to the terminal care.

I hear loud music across the hallway and it comes from the last room, I keep on walking and i realize its butterfly by BTS.

I get a huge hello good morning from the cancer kids, (Lea,Jason,Mac and Myra).

Lea: Hey Polly!!!  Today is the Day!

Me : Yes Lea today is the day!!

Jason and Mac: God we would love to be there!!!  Instead of being stuck here!!

Me: I know i wish you could all go with me, I could try to do a live instagram?!

All kids: No, its ok we want you to have fun and not worry about us!!

Me: You know ill always worry about you guys, you are like family!!

Myra: Could you get something for us signed by them?

Me: Of course!!  You can all count on it!

Myra and Lea: are you going like That to their show?

Me: Yeah.. Dont you guys think i look good? 

Myra and Lea: your outfit is fine but we need to do something cute with your hair and face.

Me: my face and hair??

Myra and Lea: Dont worry you are safe with us!!

Jason and Mac: AHHH you girls, you Take sooo long to get ready, Polly already was going to steal their Hearts!!

Me: Guys...

Jason and Mac: its True, you are gorgeous!!

Me: guys you are such sweethearts, I still Wonder why you guys havent had a girlfriend!!

Jason and Mac: yeah we also think that...

45 minutes later....

Myra and Lea: come on Polly!!! What do you think?
