A Confession, A Fight, A Break

_________ POV

"Pregnant!?" Josh exclaimed. I looked to the girls who could only hide their faces with their wine glasses. "Yes, Josh." I say as my smile drops. "Hey kiddies, how about we all go to the backyard and play in the tree house?" Xander suggests.

The twins cheer and follow Xander and the others to the backyard, leaving Josh and I alone.

"________, how are you pregnant if we haven't had 'mommy and daddy' time in months?" Josh asked in a rather harsh tone. "I didn't find out until recently and you have been busy. I just didn't know how to tell you," I say, my voice cracking.
Josh sighed deeply and ran his hands through his hair. "I can't, we were barely ready for those two. How are you going to do this?" He whispered. I was taken aback for the second time tonight.

"Joshua, I think you me 'we'." I correct. Josh shakes his head. "_________, I want to take a break." Josh says looking up at me. I close my eyes and shake my head. "How, Josh! We have two kids and one on the way! You can't just 'take a break' now!" I shout. "I can just take a break and I am going to!" He yells back at me.

I stand there in silence and nod. "Okay." I say before walk to the staircase. "Where are you going,________?" I ignore him as I make my way to the kids' room.

I pack all of their clothes into their suitcases and carry them to the top of the steps before going to pack my own things.

"_________, I'm sorry. Don't leave." Josh says as he grabbed my wrist. I yank away from him and look him in the eye. "You want a break and I am giving you one. The kids and I are going to my parents for awhile, just until your ready. You know, since it's all about you." I say bluntly before packing the rest of my things and taking the bags downstairs.

"_______, this is a mistake! I'm messed up, baby please stay." He pled as I loaded the bags into my car. I open the garage door and walk towards the backyard to get the kids.

"Babies, let's go visit grandma and grandpa!" I say throwing on a fake smile. Tyler and Taylor pop their little heads out of the door to the tree house. "Nana and Papa!" They cheer as Brendon and Tyler help them from the rope ladder.

"What happened between you two?" Jenna asked. I shook my head and swallowed hard as Josh came out of the house. "I will talk later. For right now we're going to visit Nana and Papa!" I say as the kids ran towards me. Jenna looks towards Xoey and Sarah. "Call and we can meet up later." Sarah whispers. I nod and turn towards Josh.

"Say bye bye to daddy." I say as Josh pulls on a fake smile. I look away and the kids run to hug Josh. "Bye daddy!" Taylor cheers. "Bye princess. I love you both." Josh calls as he pulls Tyler in for a kiss on the cheek. "Listen to mommy and take good care of her, because I love her." He says before letting the kids go. I smile and start to walk them to the car. Josh stops me and squeezes my hand.

"I love you so much. Don't forget that." He says looking me in the eye. I sigh. "Goodbye, Josh." Is all I say.
