__________ POV

After getting the kids settled in and in bed at my parents' house, I drove to the bar that I was supposed to be meeting the girls at. As I enter, the strong smell of brown liquor and regret fill my nostrils.

"Hey mama, you made it!" Sarah cheered as I approached the table. With a weak smile, I sat in the booth next to Jenna. "So, what happened?" Xoey asked as she sipped from glass of brown liquor. I sigh deeply and stare at the table.

"Josh wanted a break, so we're having one." I say with a shrug. Jenna gasped and Xoey looked extremely worried. "Babes, you two have never had a fight. I think something else is going on," Xoey pressed. I shrug and stare at my glass of water. "He doesn't want the baby," I mumble causing Sarah to slam her hands on the table.

"Oh hell no, sweetie. It takes two to tango and you've both done it twice. If you can't just take a break from being a mom, than he can't just stop being a dad." She stated with great passion. I supress a whimper as tears sting my eyes. "We've been fighting so much for the past year," I mumble as my voice cracks and tears fall down my cheeks.

Jenna gasped as Sarah tsked. "About what?" Jenna asked. I take a deep breath as I spoke. "Everything, like the little things. Stuff like what the twins are wearing or forgetting to turn off the porch light." I say as I furrow my eyebrows. "And don't even get me started on the fact that he's never home," I say as I drop my head to the table and began to sob.

I felt a hand rub my lower back as Jenna an Sarah began to mumble. "I hate to ask this, but do you think Josh is cheating on you?" Sarah asked with caution. I tense up at the thought of Josh cheating on me. "N-no, he wouldn't Do that to the kids." I say as I raise my head. Xoey sighs and tilts her head. "Well, he wouldn't be cheating on the kids, hun." she says with an apologetic look. I let out a shaky breath and cry harder as the girls attempted to comfort me.

"It would line up with his behavior," I say eyeing the bar. With a sigh I grab my purse and stand from the booth. "I better go," I say. "Taylor usually wakes up around this time to go potty."
