A Rat That Can't Be Seen

A brown rat was running around the place trying not to be caught, but he kept getting the flashlight onto him. 'Dang it! The child is too smart!! We need someone who is harder!!! Someone who will help us get rid of this child!! If you morons have no idea who I am. I'm Nightmare Rat ,but everyone calls me Rat for short. Cat is my best friend. And there is a moron named Vinnie. That idiot keeps drugging me!!! Every time dang time I have the dang urge to kill the brat he keeps drugging me!!!!! Stupid Vinnie. He told me and Cat that he wants to kill the child all by himself. I'm not letting that happen. I want to kill the brat. Only me. I will show those stupid others that this rat can do what a rat supposed to do. To kill. Tck! Vinnie is at it again. Trying to kill the brat. The way he moves is disgusting. He needs to get lost. He keeps stealing the spot light. He's the reason why I can't be seen on stage. The reason why I became who I am. The real reason why I kill people. The reason why I don't care about drinking anymore. After all its his fault for drugging me in the first place. Its all his fault. Great Cat wants to talk to me. Might as well listen to him.' Rat looked up to see Cat standing there.

Rat asked while crossing his arms "Vinnie didn't get the kid?"

Cat shook his head and said "Nope. The kid is very smart. We can't even hurt her."

Rat made a 'tck' sound and said "I want to kill her, but she's far too smart for her scared self."

Cat nodded and said "I agree with you, but its getting harder and harder as the nights progress. We're already on night 9 and she learned all of our mechanics."

Rat put his back onto a wall and said "That brat needs to be taught a lesson."

Cat shook his head and said "You know that Vinnie will not allowing that plan to commence. Its impossible to when when the kid can find us."

Rat looked at Cat dead in the eyes and said "Why don't we go by my plan?"

Cat shook his head again and said "I'm not getting myself in trouble again. You know it as well as I do."

Rat shrugged and said "So? You want the kid gone as well right?"

Cat looked away and didn't say anything.

Rat narrowed his eyes and said "Am I right?"

Cat looked at Rat and said "I do, but I won't go by your plan. Your smart when your not drugged, but if Vinnie hears about your plan he'll keep drugging you until you snap."

Rat smirked and said "He can keep trying all he wants, but making me snap is going to be harder then it already is."

Cat and Rat heard Vinnie going back into the hallway. Rat heard the birds from the outside world wake up and started their songs.

Vinnie walked up to them with his bow tie a little lope sided and said "Let's go back tot he attic and stay hidden until the next night." Rat and Cat followed Vinnie up to the attic.
