Rat ran out of the room to get into the attic without N.M. knowing. Rat pulled the rope down and walked up the ladder. He walked into the attic and closed the attic door. Rat looked over at Vinnie and Cat sitting down on boxes. They are looking at a map that they found. Rat thought while walking towards the map 'I hope she doesn't kill me.' Rat walked back over to his corner and sat down. He leaned up against the wall and continued to think about the things that happened in that room. It was confusing at first, but Rat was used to it by now. The confusion. The hatred. The parents dead on the floor with blood coming out of their rotting bones. Rat shook himself off at the sight of the parents. He hoped that N.M. didn't cause it because if she did then she's a better predator then he is. Probably better then Vinnie. Rat put his head on the wall and thought 'Today was very confusing. I hope it never happens again.' Rat closed his eyes for a second until he woke due to Vinnie hitting him on the head. Rt looked up at Vinnie while rubbing his head.

Vinnie had a stick in his hands and said "I hope your ready for tonight because we are going to kill that Mary Schmidt."

Rat smiled and said while rubbing his head still "Yes sir I am. More ready then last night."

Cat looked over at Rat and asked "Where were you last night?"

Vinnie looked at Cat then back at Rat and said "Yeah Rat. Where were you?"

Rat looked at Cat and mouthed "I'm going to hurt you."

Vinnie hit Rat on the head and said "Don't pay attention to him! Where were you?!"

Rat put his other hand on his head and said "I was dealing with the parents. They were heading to the child's room."

Vinnie nodded and said while turning around "Thank you." Rat nodded and looked back at Cat with hatred in his eyes.

Cat tilted his head and asked "What?" Rat ran at Cat while Cat got up and ran off. Vinnie got out of their way and sat down on a box. Watching the two idiots chase each other. Rat was about to grab Cat until he got hit in the nose by the attic door. The damage wasn't bad, but it might leave a bruise. Rat, Cat, and Vinnie looked at the attic door to reveal a white nightmare fox girl. Rat felt sweat travel down his face. It was N.M.. She looked beautiful as ever. With her dangerous eyes staring at him. Rat shook his head and thought 'No! She probably likes someone else and besides she hates you because you bit into her.' N.M. looked over at Rat with evil eyes as she was about to hurt him. He knows because of the atmosphere she's giving him. He ran off while the metal tentacles wrapped around him throwing him out of the attic and onto the first floor. She crawled out of the attic and blocked it by wood. Rat heard Cat and Vinnie banging on the door. N.M. had the ladder out and she broke it. The entire house went quite.

N.M. said with pure anger "Why did you bite me?"

Rat felt fear rising inside of him and said "Because.... I think...."

N.M. raised an eyebrow and asked "I think?"

Rat looked at N.M. and said while getting up "I think I'm in love with you N.M.." N.M. froze right in her spot. Rat looked down and walked away and tried to get the wood off. Leaving N.M. there to get used to the information. Right before Rat jumped into the attic. N.M. grabbed Rat by the collar and kissed him. Leaving Rat with wide eyes.
