Rat stopped kissing N.M. and looked at her in the eyes. Beauty behind them made his heart swell in more love. He smirked underneath his mask and hugged N.M. right before he heard the door open. He sighed and thought 'Not a second longer huh?' Rat stopped hugging N.M. and looked at the attic.

N.M. said while holding Rat's hand "Upset?"

Rat nodded and said "Yeah..."

N.M. hugged Rat and said "Then stay down here with me."

Rat shook his head and said "I can't I scared Mary far too many times. I don't want to scare her anymore."

N.M. nodded and said "I understand."

Rat picked up N.M.'s face with his thumb and said "But my feelings for you aren't changing Nightmare Mangle."

N.M. nodded again and said "Alright." Rat pulled down the latter to the attic and took one more look of N.M. right before he started to climb up into the attic to see Cat and Vennie sitting on boxes. Cat doesn't look as mad as Vennie. Rat pulled up the fixed latter and closed the attic door to look at Vennie and Cat.

Vennie raised an eyebrow and asked "How was your girlfriend?"

Rat walked away and said "She's fine and plus we're not dating yet."

Cat smiled and said "You 2 make a good couple actually." Rat stopped and looked over at Cat who was smiling while having his eyes closed.

Rat sighed and said "She's amazing Cat and I don't want you to take her."

Cat looked at Rat with an annoyed look and said "I won't take her."

Rat smiled and said "Good!" He walked over to his box and sat on it. Waiting for the day to be over with and for the night to being. So that he could see N.M. again. He smirked and closed his eyes to go to sleep.
