Natasha's eyes flashed opened. She let out a long yawn as she hit the top of her alarm clock and turned slowly to her right. 6:00 am. She had rarely woken up so late – she would normally be up by 4:30, training in the gym or something like that – but she hadn't slept well that night. She kept on tossing and turning, thinking of them. Were they alright? Were they safe? Why hadn't they called yet? Where were they? Had they found a place to stay? Damn it Steve! He could have just taken the phone. There was no way anyone could've tracked it. But no! "Better safe than sorry." She mumbled some insults in Russian, getting up from her bed. Suddenly, her phone ran:

                                                                   Unknown caller

She grabbed her phone the phone in the most swiftest way ever and picked up immediately.

"Steve?"

"Whoa. That was quick. Does this mean you've you been missing me?" answered a low voice, that made Natasha sigh in relief.

"Steven Rogers where have you been?!" she scolded.

"Calm down Romanoff, It's only been a week!" Steve protested. He adored the way Natasha would always worry about him, but he never told her. She mumbled something in frustration before finally calming down and asking:

"How's Bucky?"

"Oh, uh–he's fine. He's great. He's at the store buying some stuff. Food, clothes... the basics." Steve said, playing with the payphones' wire.

"How's everything otherwise? I mean, are you guys ok? Any problems." Natasha asked, a hint of concern in her voice.

"No problems so far. I think a kid recognized me the other day but... Otherwise... yeah– we're good." Steve finally admitted. "Anyway, we gotta go." he then said after a short pause. "We're gonna hit the road again, so we might not be able to call soon."

"Ok, ok." Natasha answered. "Hey, just out of morbid curiosity, did you tell him?" she asked with a smirk.

"Goodbye Natasha." Steve replied as he blushed, unable to hold back his large smile.

"Take care, Steve." she chuckled.

Steve hung up and walked out of the payphone he headed to the car the had "borrowed" and opened the door, waiting for Bucky, who soon walked out of the store, two plastic bags in hands, completely full with provisions. Steve looked at Bucky and then laughed at the ground.

"You know Buck, when I said 'go for a more casual look', that isn't what I had in mind." he said, mocking Bucky's "Mother trucker" cap."

"It was the last one they had, ok!" Bucky whined as a smirk dawned on his lips.

"Besides, why is it with the fugitive look?" Bucky stared at Steve with big confused blue eyes. "You know, the dark t-shirt, the hoodie and the sunglasses. Oh, and let's not forget the 'I don't want to be noticed so I'll wear an ugly cap to go unseen' cap.

"Ok," Bucky chuckled, wresting his arm on the car. "Say's the guy who is wearing the dark t-shirt, the hoodie, the sunglasses and–Oh what do you know?–the cap!"

"Yeah well I'm the famous Captain America! I need extra protection!"

Bucky sighed as he opened the door and got into the car. Steve smiled, trying to hide his blushing cheeks. He put the keys in when Bucky asked:

"How was she? Natasha?"

"Oh, she was–angry. But yeah she was fine." Bucky chuckled but his smile quickly disappeared; he now seemed disappointed. "You ok, Buck?" Steve asked, turning towards the blue eyed man..
