Glitch and some of our knights traveled to the other Realms for help, while Keirran, Ron and I started planning and learning more about the beasts.
We learned that they are called the Forgottens.
Well they aren't the Forgottens, the owners of the beasts are.
The beasts don't have a name really, so we're calling them demons.
Basically the Forgottens are feys that fend themselves off of regualr fey flesh, draining them of their glamour.
How are they created? We don't know.
They haven't been seen in ages and now they are reoccuring.
"Why would they take Mom and Dad though?" I asked irritated to Keirran.
We were in the studies room, I was sitting on the chair nearest to the map, while Keirran and Ronan and a couple of other Iron guards hover over the humongous map laid out on the wooden table.
"I don't know, S," Ke said frustrated as I am. "I mean it doesn't make sense, they could feed off of any other feys, but they chose them..they took a lot of risk coming into the Iron Realm."
"Maybe because they are Iron?" Ronan suggested now standing next to me, holding a Forgotten book. "I mean we kind of are a new Court and we are powerful... no other Fey can set foot onto our land without dying. We have a huge advantage."
"Yeah," I said agreeing, nodding my head. "But why them? Why not me and Ke? We are the one with all three Realms in our blood? We'd be a better use."
Ke was biting his lips, nodding too.
"It just doesn't connect," I said now standing up. "And plus they weren't feys that kidnapped them. They were beasts... demons, we've never encounter before. I mean it wasn't hard killing them, but they were fast and they just vanish in thin air. Like they portal from place to place. It took longer to kill them then any other creatures we hunted."
"They have an advantage there," Ke said. "Like S said. They are fast, and they can maneuver themselves around us easily. We need better weapons if we're going to go against them."
"Why? We already have great weapons. We get the best from the Market, I think they work perfectly fine. I think we just need to be a little faster when using them and our glamour," I say, leaning my hip against the desk.
"I feel like theres a weapon still out there specifically used to kill them," My brother say.
"We don't have time to go searching for one," I reply irritated.
"We'll stop at the Exile Queen's place," said Ronan. "She has all kinds of weapons. Maybe she has one, we'll just have to make her a deal."
I looked at Ke reflexively.
The Exile Queen's home was the one place Ke and his love, Annwyl spent the most time together, the last place where they spent together, before she died.
Ke nodded at me.
"We need to go there," He say.
I nod.
"Okay, so where are the Forgottens located anyway?" I asked.
"In the book it says that the Forgottens move from place to place, never staying in the same place for long, afraid they'd be exposed. You know... Because the bodies add up," Ronan said flipping through the pages.
"Great that helps a lot," I grumbled, now sitting on a chair and dangling my feet off the arm. "Where were they last seen? Or when have they last attacked?"
