Lucas Sinclair Part 2

A week later

History again, which means I finally got to sit next to Lucas. I have began to grow closer with his friends and especially him, he seemed to want to talk more and would skip lessons to see how I was doing, which was very bizarre assuming Lucas kind of liked school.

"Hey Y/N" Lucas smiled sitting down

I smiled widely, "hey Lucas!" I said moving my stuff over a bit

We talked the whole lesson, silently chuckling whenever we was caught, but History we knew was the lesson to bring us closer, but after was the dreaded moment of Troy and his friend James being assholes to all of us, as soon as we met Mike and Dustin Troy and James would have fun picking on us.

The bell rang loudly echoing in my ears, I stepped out of the classroom Lucas following behind me, soon enough we saw Mike and Dustin sitting on the bench, Lucas smiled at me strangely, as if to say he was scared, but I tried to ignore it and walked over to the bench, I sat next to Dustin and Lucas sat in front of me.

"Hey lovebirds" Dustin smiled placing a spoonful of chocolate pudding in his mouth

Lucas sighed

"Hey Lucas don't be aggravated you like a girl, your reaching the stages of puberty" Mike laughed chewing his food.

I couldn't help but laugh at what Mike said, Lucas shoved him hard causing him to choke on the burger he was eating, someone whacked mikes back. Troy.

Mike stopped coughing and he was dragged  from the seat by Troy. I groaned, I hated these boys thinking they were tough, I mean there was no reason they're not its just why are they picking on us in particular.

Troy laughed in Mikes scared face, "frog face what you eating frog food?" Troy smirked

"Troy let go of him" Lucas growled.

"Ok " Troy said throwing Mike onto the ground  causing blood to form on the dip of his eyebrow where he had been thrown, Mike held it tightly.

I stood up and looked into Troy's eyes, "your a bastard I hope you know that" I hissed.

Troy swung his fist but Lucas tackled me to the floor he landed on top of me and awkwardly giggled, I felt my cheeks heat up as he looked at me, he grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

"Thanks Lucas" I smiled

"No problem" He smirked

Dustin sat on the bench stuffing more chocolate pudding in his mouth as if he was watching an intense movie, I sighed silently laughing

"What's up Y/N you cant fight for yourself" Troy smirked

"No I can fight, better than you, you little bitch" I said swinging a fist at him.

Lucas held me back, and looked at me, the look he gave me was enough to get rid of all of the anger and fear that had built up inside of me, "I'll do it" Lucas said looking at me.

Lucas stood in front of Troy and punched him in the face, Troy fell onto the floor holding his bruised face, I sat with Mike a smile on my face knowing Lucas punched Troy, and he punched him for me.

I waited in the park after school for Lucas, he said he wanted to meet me, I sat on the bench thinking about the events of today, luckily Mikes bruise was invisible because most of his eyebrow was covering it, I stared out into the lake, I was really falling in love.

I heard footsteps behind me and saw Lucas walking towards me his hands behind his back.

"Lucas, I thought you weren't going to come" I smiled

He nodded, " I'm here right" He chuckled

I laughed, " yeah I think"

I stood up with him, soon enough he pulled a bouquet of flowers from behind his back

"I picked them out for you, then I carefully placed them inside" He smiled, " I hope you liked them" He said

I nodded taking the flowers and looking at them, now I know why Lucas kept asking me to draw and name my favorite flowers, each flower I told Lucas I liked was carefully placed inside.

"Woah thanks Lucas" I said sadly.

"Do you not like them" He frowned

" I love them its just you stood up for me today and gave me these amazing flowers, I cant give you anything, I'm pretty much broke" I sighed staring into Lucas' eyes.

He sat on the bench pulling me down with him, "there is one thing" He said

I nodded, "yes?"

"Ok Y/N I have liked you ever since I have met you, I think you are so pretty and I love your personality and I love how we have the same interests, you are the only one who will come rock hunting with me" He smiled

I felt myself blush.

"But Y/N I think we .. you know.. should maybe date, I mean its fine if you don't want to, I just really like you and I want you to know, but T/N will you go out with me?" He said

I nodded

"wait did the prettiest girl say yes to dating me" He said confused

"well if she is me, then yes she did" I chuckled.

He stared into my eyes, his smile was wide.

"would you like to kiss me?" He said awkwardly.

"If its ok with you?" I said

He nodded quickly kissing me, I smiled with him.

"so are we dating?" He asked

I laughed nodding, "yes Lucas we are" I smiled

He held my hand as we stared into the clear lake, the flowers carefully placed onto my lap, it was silent a nice silent.

"I love you Lucas" I said happily

"I love you more Y/N" He smiled
