The clock beeped slowly as it was now 7 in the morning. The birds were chirping on the tree, the sun was shining brightly but not blinding enough. The weather was perfect for the day.

It was a peaceful morning. The (hair colour) haired woman snuggled more to her blanket in her king sized bed. She smiled contently. After a few days of not sleeping for finishing her designs she considered herself worthy of the sleep she very much deserved.

However, a few seconds later, a cheerful scream was heard throughout the whole mansion.

(Your Name), knowing fully well who that voice belongs to quickly sat up on her bed and made her way outside her room, almost running, to find the location from where the scream came from.

Only to be tackled as soon as her feet reached the outside of her room.

"Mummy!!! Good morning!" the cute voice came from the fuzzball who's wrapping his small arms to the woman's body.

"Good morning sweetheart.. What  made my dear boy soo happg today?" she asked. Obviously knew the reason for the sudden happiness of the child.

"It's my birthday today mummy!! It's my birthday!!!" Daiki exclaimed.

"I know baby.. Happy 5th birthday sweetheart." she said as she kissed the boy on his forehead.

The boy giggled. Happy to get his mother's kiss in the morning.

"Let's go have breakfast mummy. Aunt Hallie made me a special birthday breakfast." he said pulling his mother's arm to go downstairs.

"I'll brush my teeth real quick ok sweetheart? And then we go have our breakfast."

"Okay mummy.. But be quick. Aunt Hallie said it is a surprise but I know its pancake. It's pancake mummy.!!" the boy said following her mother into her bathroom.

The woman simply laughed at her son's antic. After they're done with their breakfast, the two went their way to the mall to buy the child his birthday gifts. Every year he will chose his own presents. Especially if it's from his mother.

He only wants to do that to his mother. But any other presents from everyone else he received willingly.

The two had fun choosing the presents. Right after their lunch, the two headed straight to the hotel where the birthday will now be celebrated with (Your Name)'s father's acquaintance and also Tsumizu Mika's acquaintance.

Everyone was happy that day. Celebrating the 5th birthday of the only grandson of the great (Family Name) (Father Name). But among the happiness there's still some worries.

By the mother of the birthday boy. As she needed to tell her son about his father. She looked longingly as her son was with his grandparents. Opening the gifts he received. Wondering his reaction if he knew his father was well and alive.

That evening after helping her son drying off after his bath, she crouched down to his height.

"Do you want to sleep with me tonight baby?" she asked.

The boy gasped. It's been a long time since he last sleeping beside his mother.

"Can I mummy? Can I?? Pleasee.."

The woman smiled softly. Kissing her son's cheeks.

"Of course you can baby." she said as she took her son's habd and they went to her bedroom after she finished dressing uo her son.

Once the they reached the king-sized bed, the boy jumped and dived his body onto the mattress. The woman laid down beside her son and hugged her son. The boy also returning the gesture.

"Daiki, do you remember what I told you about your father?"

"Hurmm..you told me to wait for my birthday and then you will tell me."

"Clever boy." she said kissing his template. The boy giggled.

"Daiki, I want you to listen carefully okay." she looked at her son. The boy detected her serious tone and slowly nodded his head.

"Your father is still alive. He lived in another country. Not in England. In Japan." she said the words one by one.

"Then why he never meet me mummy? Doesn't he missed me??" he asked. Innocently tilting his head to the right.

"He....." she stopped her words. Doesn't know how to tell her son anymore about his father.

"He didn't want to see me?" the boy said starting to tear-up.

Noticing the sudden change in her son's face, she quickly hugged the boy.

"Baby.. What I am going to tell you next. You might not understand it. But I feel like that's the most important thing to tell you. Can you hear me till I finished?" she asked. Wiping off the tears gathered on her son's eyes. After receiving the nod from her son, she took a deep breath before she spoke.

"Me and your father are divorced now. We do not live with each other anymore. And your dad did not know about you because he divorced me before mummy can tell him that you're in mummy's stomach."

"He do not know about me?" he asked.

"Yes darling. I'm sorry for making you go through this when you're still very little." the woman said. This time her eyes teared up.

Her son, using his small palm, wiped the tears away.

"That is not mummy's fault. I am here with you mummy. You have me. And I will protect you mummy" he said hugging his mother.

The woman laughed slightly at that.

"But mummy, it's not fair.. You met me. But daddy never met me." he said.

The woman contemplate before she spoke.

"Do you want to meet you father Daiki?" she asked. Eventhough she already knew the answer to the question. She asked anyway.

"I want to meet him mummy. Can I?? I promise I will never leave you. I want to see how daddy looked like." he said carefully.

"You looked just like him sweetheart. Your hair colour, your face. The only thing different was your eyes. You get that from me." she said.

"But if you want to meet your father. Then I will take you to him. You deserved to meet him." she continued her sentences.

Hugging her son, burying her face in his cloth so that he would not see her facial expression. The 5 years old child hugged his mother back without uttering a single word. As if he knew how she felt about all of this.

And from the outside of the door, a much older looking male was standing by the door. Listening to his daughter and his grandson's conversation. Tears welled up his eyes.
