Ride Through Adventure

Alton Towers

"Levi, get back here, LEVI!" shouted Mrs. Evandalyn. Not long after, Levi did as he was told and came back crying his eyes out.

"Levi, promise you will never do that to me again!"

"Sorry, mummy," apologised Levi.

"Now then, as I was saying girls, why don't you flip a coin, then do the other ride you wanted next. Is that fair?"

"Yes, that is fair Mrs. Evandalyn," admitted Lisa.,

"Yep your right once again mum," agreed Ashley.

"Let me find a coin, ah here's one." Mrs. Evandalyn dipped her hand inside her left trouser pocket and pulled out a 50p coin. Lisa grabbed the coin out of Mrs Evandalyn's hand and was about to flip the coin.

"Wait... who is what?" asked Lisa.

"I'll be heads," said Ashley.

"Okay." She flipped the coin.

"Oh...it's heads," said Lisa, disappointed.

"Yeah, that means we go on Nem-e-sis!"

So due to result of the flipped coin, the girls raced over to the Forbidden Valley section, where they found Nemesis. Without a single doubt or hesitation the girls joined the queue for the ride. They whizzed and twirled and loop-de-looped round the frightening monster machine. When they came off the ride, they experienced a sudden wave of nausea rush over their bodies. They wobbled all over the place whilst walking back to Mrs. Evandalyn.

"Are you girls all right?" asked Mrs Evandalyn.

"Yeah, err dunno, I just feel really sick," replied Ashley.

"Same here," admitted Lisa.

"So you're not all right," Mrs. Evandalyn answered for them. "So, Oblivion next?"

As before the girls raced over to Oblivion, but this time Ashley definitely did have one slight hesitation.

"I don't like the 'vertical drop' part of it," explained Ashley. But Lisa wasn't taking 'No' for an answer. She grabbed Ashley by the arm and dragged her into the queue.

"Ah some peace and quiet to myself," sighed Mrs. Evandalyn. But Levi was up to his tricks again and let go of his mother's hand, but when his mother called him he didn't come back. He left the Oblivion site, went to the Main Entrance, over to the Forbidden Valley and all over the theme park, meaning that Ashley and Lisa were all on their own. Unfortunately, that wasn't the main concern on Sarah Evandalyn's mind. When Levi rested for breath near Rita, she almost had him, but he escaped from her once again. All her stomach tensed up inside her at the thought of never seeing her dear son again. But one fortunate event happened: Levi stopped next to Hex Legend of the towers ride because he was always terrified of big castles that tower over him. He lent against the wall and looked up at the beast. He burst into tears. Mrs Evandalyn was able to catch up to him. She pulled the child rein out of the carrier bag and clipped him to it. She wasn't taking any chances. She walked him over to a more private place to properly tell him off.

"You're not escaping from me again, and I will make sure of that!"shouted Mrs Evandalyn at the top of her voice.

"Sorry mummy, I just wanted to play with my plane."

"No buts, you have caused quite enough trouble for one day," she looked around at her surroundings. She didn't recognise which part of the park she was in.

"Oh no! I have left the girls on their own by Oblivion but which way is Oblivion?"

She looked in her handbag for the Resort Map, but then she realised she had given it to Levi.

"Levi, where did you put the map of the park?" asked Mrs. Evandalyn with deep concern.

"Er... I used it for my plane and a gust of wind blew it out of my hands. I'm sorry mummy."

"LEVI, YOU STUPID BOY!!! Now how am I meant to find the girls?"

So how are Levi and Mrs. Evandalyn going to find Ashley and Lisa now?

Meanwhile, Ashley and Lisa came off of the breath-taking Oblivion to find that Ashley's mother was no longer waiting for them to come off.

"Hi mum, sorry about the time we just had a slight....." said Ashley, finding that she was talking to herself.

"Delay... where has mum gone?"Ashley asked Lisa.

"I don't know. She was here when we went to queue up," said Lisa, pointing to the place where they had left Mrs. Evandalyn.

"Well she obviously isn't here, Lisa. I know it is a big park and all but maybe we should start going to find my mum... AND LEVI! Levi isn't here either!"

"Calm down, Ashley. Everything is going to be fine. We just need to figure out how on earth we are going to find your mum and brother. I'm sorry that everything's gone wrong on your birthday."

"It's okay Lisa, I know this wasn't your fault, now let's try and find out where they would have gotten to," Ashley cleared her mind and started to re-think the situation.

"Lisa, do you have the Resort Map?"Ashley started to plan it out carefully.

"Er, y y yes think so," Lisa begin to search every corner and pocket of her handbag. "Yes, here it is!" Lisa grabbed the map and pulled it out hastily.

"Okay, so we are..."Ashley began to follow the map and the ride positions to work it out. "We are here," she pointed directly at the X-Sector section where Oblivion was.

"Okay Lisa, how long were we since we left my mum."

"So we left your mum at 11: 17am and we came off at 11: 43am, because I looked at my watch, so 26 minutes," Lisa calculated who as always was exact.

"So in the time we had on the ride times radius of park, plus the square-metre which is 79 means that they couldn't have gone beyond here," Ashley drew a line just over half-way down the map of the park.

"See Ashley, you are good at your stuff," Lisa praised Ashley. Ashley blushed.

"So what do we do from here Ashley?"

"Follow me!" Ashley said with a little more confidence in herself.
