Amarie sat on her couch lazily reading when her phone buzzed.
"Hi! I'm coming over with Laura, K?" - Ivory
"Sure. See you in ten?"
"Yup. Bye!"
Amarie got up and straightened up the living room, but that only took a few minutes. Her doorbell rang and she went to answer. Laura was standing shyly and Ivory had a huge grin spread across her face, displaying her perfect white teeth.
"PIZZA!" Ivory shouted, entering the apartment.
Laura turned a bit pink and hurried inside after.
Dialing the number for Dominos, Amarie could hear Ivory talking loudly and Laura's short replies.
"Oh, my gosh Laura! It's been so long!"
"I saw you yeste-"
"When did I last hang out with you? I can't remember it's been so long!"
"We saw each other ye-"
"I can't even remember!"
Amarie smiled. "I'll have two large pizzas. One cheese, One pepperoni." She gave the address for delivery, thanked the woman on the other end, and hung up.
Laura and Ivory both were suspiciously quiet when she entered the living room.
"What is it?" Amarie inquired.
"We need to talk," Laura said.
"About two things," Ivory added.
"The first being Orissa. She seems to be... different lately. She hangs out with bad guys and isn't concerned with the upkeep of our friendship. What do you want to do?"
Amarie suddenly felt a bit hot. She didn't really know what to say. Honestly, she did know what she needed to do...
"We need to break things off. If she can't be trusted and isn't concerned with our friendship than we need to politely... end it."
Ivory and Laura nodded their heads solemnly.
"I agree," murmured Laura.
"On that happy note, what was the second thing?" said Amarie, trying to break the tension.
"Right," said Ivory, snapping out of the spaced-out silence, "The second thing is our plan that Laura and I have for you."
Amarie got suspicious, and her suspicions were confirmed.
"We are going to find you a nice guy by the end of this month."
