Every year, the same thing happened the night before camp started. I knew I wouldn't sleep for more than two hours. I was eager to reunite with my best friends Blaire and Zander. Soon what felt like hours passed and I still hadn't fallen asleep. Finally at 4:00 in the morning, I did. Barely 3 hours later, I was up again getting ready for the big day. I put on my new camp shirt and ripped jean shorts with my high top converse. I threw my day old straightened hair into a high ponytail and put on only mascara. I finished in half an hour, it then being 7:30. I went outside to wait for the bus knowing I was an hour early. I waited for what seemed like forever until hearing the small yellow bus cruising around her corner. I jumped up from our porch and sprinted to the doors of the bus. I walked on the bus and said hi to the bus driver. Her name was Kelly, and she was very nice. She had short dirty blonde hair and was only a few inches taller than me. She'd been my bus driver for the past two years. I walked to the seat in the back of the bus and we began driving to the camp. 15 minutes later, I was finally there. I walked into the camp, feeling the anticipation rushing within me. I walked in the main entrance and looked around. I saw my group at the picnic tables and ran as fast as she could. I look around until making eye contact with Blaire. I sprinted to Her and hugged her for what seemed like forever. I hadn't seen her in forever and I had missed her more than ever. "Blaire I missed you so much," "Where's Zander," I asked questionably, "he's not coming Aria..." I pulled away from Blaire not knowing what would happen. This year was going to be different.
