"So you're telling me that Jasmine and Adrian used to have a thing?" Layla asked me as we walked down the crowded hallway.

"Yeah, but he didn't seem to like talking about it. He said something like it was a mistake." I put my elbow on the hard desk and placed my head in my hands.

"Well how did he look?"

"He looked very uncomfortable, like he was straining himself to talk about it. Who knows maybe something happened." I turned away from Layla and faced the front of the class. I don't know what happened with them, but It obviously wasn't a happy ending that's for sure.

I walked past all the annoying people pushing and shoving each other. I hate walking through these halls, that's why I wait. I walk down the hall and spot Tyler, standing at his locker. His curly brown hair messy as always and his blue eyes sparkling. Ah, he looks so innocent.

I walked over to him and leaned against the lockers. "Hey, whatcha' doin'?" I smiled.

He looked from his locker and smiled. "Hey, babe. I was getting my books out of my locker." He placed his chemistry book in and closed it. He grabbed my hand and pulled me along as he walked down the hall.

"I've got bad news." I joked.

"What? Don't tell me your breaking up with me." He frowned. I can't believe he thought I was going to actually break up with him. Idiot.

"No! I'ts about Layla. She''s got another date and she want's us there, again."  He sighed. He hates it just as much as I do.

"Um, I'm sorry I can't go." He gave me that 'I'm sorry I'll make it up to you' look. He always does.

"Why not? If I go by myself I'll be a damn third wheel." I whined. I'm definitely not going to be one of those again. I've had enough of that.

"Um, Jasmine invited me to go somewhere." He avoided my eyes. I could tell he didn't want to tell me because he knows how I feel about her. She's just doing this to get to me and right now It's kind of working.

"Your not actually going are you?"

"Well, yeah I mean just because you guys hate each other doesn't mean that I have to hate her too."

"Okay, I guess I''ll go by myself. I hope you have fun." I let go of his hand. I can't believe he was going somewhere with Jasmine, of all people. I opened my mouth to say something, but I was too hurt to even speak to him. I mean I never said that he had to hate her too, but he's blowing me off for someone who is my worst enemy. The worst thing is that he knows she has a thing for him, but he still want to go. I swear I'll murder them both if she lays a hand on him.

"Tyler's not coming." I plopped down trying not to look so damn pissed. Layla stood up from the school steps and sat beside me on the sidewalk. She placed her arm around me and lay her head on my shoulder."Lay, he's going somewhere with Jasmine.....Jasmine of all freaking people." I rest my elbows on my knees and place my head in my hands, trying to cool my temper. This is really pissing me off.

"He's going somewhere with Jasmine? See this is why hate him. He goes with the person you hate the most. Well were are they going?"

"There going to a party." A familiar voice said. I looked and found blue eyes looking down on me. Adrian crossed his arms smirking. Why does this guy always show up out of no where. And how does he know that?

"How do you know?" I asked standing and staring into his blue eyes.

"Everyone was invited....except you." He smirked placing his hands in his pockets. Damn him.

"Where's the party?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"I'm not going to sit back and let her have her way." I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes. "If you haven't noticed by now, we kind of hate each others guts. Why in fucks name would I be alone with my boyfriend at a party I wasn't invited to?" He raised his eyebrows and chuckled. What was so damn funny?

"The parties at her parents cabin." He turned around and started to walk away. I could feel a smile plastered on his face. He knew I had no idea where that was. I'm sick of him playing with me. I should just rip his head off right now..... but then I wouldn't know how to get to the party. I sighed, I really don't want to do this.

"Can you take us there?"

"Sure, but I want something in return."

"What?"

"We'll discuss later, come on." He walked to the side of his car and opened the doors and hoped in. Layla hoped into the back and I hoped in the front. Adrian looked at me and smirked. I'll definitely have to kill him late.
