The forest lost its beauty and every single leaf felt. For each tear that touched the ground, a tree died.
"Why did you do that? You... fool..." Crying and suffering she screamed. She couldn't do anything from shore, but inside her an impulse made her entre to the lake.
She ran while the dark lake got frozen again. When she finally arrived at the middle of the lake, it was too late; all the lake got frozen in seconds.
"No! Please!" She hit the ice. "Don't leave me" She implored.
However, she couldn't definitely do anything; if she had known how to swim probably he wouldn't put her safe sacrificing himself.
She began to cry without stop hitting the ice and finally she saw him. He smiled at her and put his hand on the ice; she laughed a bit because she found him but he was in the other side of the ice, the girl put her hand on the ice at the same place where he put his. Then, she laid her forehead on the frozen lake.
He moved his lips, trying to tell her something but for her was impossible to understand. She cried for the last time, she knew that he was dying.
"I... I love you..." She whispered with sadness in her voice.
He just smiled and slowly closed his eyes.
