Double Date part 1

Shane's POV

Today was amazing, Ryland and I got to spend the entire day together but we have to get home to get ready for our double date tonight with Joey and his boyfriend Daniel. As we are pulling in the driveway I get a call from Joey-
"Hey, are you wanting to go out to eat or just hang out here and cook?"
"Umm...I don't know, I'll ask Ryland."
I turn to Ryland and he looks up at me since he heard his name.
"They wanna know if we wanna go out or just eat at their house."
"Take out?"
I put the phone back to my ear and tell Joey.
"Maybe we could do take out? Ryland's idea."
"Sounds great to me, see you at 6."
I look down at my watch and see that it's already 4:30.
"Okay, we have just about and 1 to get ready and take a shower and all that good stuff," I said to Ryland while looking at my phone and getting out of the car.
"Fun stuff?"
He smirked at me and tilted his head and then gave me a wink.
"You know what I mean!"
I joked with him and then I turned to him and grabbed on his waist and pulled his closer and he backpeddled to the wall next to the door.
"Oh, you weren't talking about this fun stuff??"
I just looked at him for a moment and then responded.
"Ugh! Whatever!"
I said playfully and then opened the door and headed upstairs to get clothes for a quick shower while Ryland let Uno out.
"I need to take a shower too you know!"
Ryland screamed from downstairs while I turned the shower on. I then heard footsteps coming up the staircase.
"Hey, you heard me right?"
"Yes, so..."
"So...it's now 4:40....maybe take a shower together?"
He gave me smirk and then I tilted my head and smiled as I looked him up and down.
"Like what you see?"
I came out of my trance and looked at him and blinked a couple times as I took my shirt off and pants while Ryland just snickered and took off his pants and shirt while getting in the shower after me as he has won.
"Ow!"
"What?"
I got scared. I know, I get dramatic when it comes to Ryland's safety.
"It's just that the water is hot..trade me places."
I stepped in front of him to where the water was hitting me most. I turned it down and asked Ryland if it was better.
"Yes, Dad!"
We always called each other dad...it's become this cute little joke like Joey and Daniel call each other sweetie and pig.
"Omg, whatever!"
I looked at him and smiled and snorted while laughing.
"Omg! You're so freaking cute when you do that!"
Ryland grabbed my face and put his forehead against mine when he said that.
"This is great,"
I thought.
"Nothing could get better than this."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~After Shane and Ryland get out the shower they get their clothes on and head to the car after letting Uno back in. Shane gets a text from Joey saying that the food is ready and that they should hurry before it's all gone. Shane quickly replied while Ryland gets in the car on his phone talking to Erin.

Erin was texting me telling all the tea that was spilt on Clevver News.
"Omg, I didn't even ask. How are things with Shane going??"
"Things are going..."
"Going what?? DID YOU GUYS BREAK UP??"
Erin always gets concerned about everything that happened no matter who it is.
"No, things are going....amazing with Shane. He's so nice and sweet to me and not like all the other fuckboys in LA."
"Yeah, true. I see the way he acts around you, I don't really know how to explain it but he's, different. Like a completely different person than he his in camera. He's gentle and so good to you. That's why I've already started planning the wedding!"
I roll my eyes and giggle I bit and Shane asks why.
"What are you laughing at?"
"Haha, it's just Erin talking about us."
"Why? Haha I'm not giving her any secrets for the show."
"Haha, no she's just talking about how nice you are to me and I said yeah, you're not like all the other fuckboys in LA."
"Yeah, I could be a fuckboy if you want. 'MOUTH WIDE OPEN! MOUTH WIDE OPEN! MOUTH WIDE OPEN LIKE I WAS AT THE DENTIST!'"
I look over at him while he dances and drives at the same time. God, I love that man.
"Haha, oh my god, stop stop!!"
He looked over and winked at me and then grabbed my hand.
While all of this was happening I didn't even notice that Erin had been blowing up my phone.
"Haha lol hey sorry Shane was singing deep throat and you know I couldn't miss that!!"
"Oh, I understand. Yeah you really couldn't miss it...it's so funny!!😂😂"
"lol well I have to go Erin, we just got to Joey and Daniel's house so I'll text you later."
"Ok. Ttyl bye babe!!"
"Bye."
We pull in and Shane parked the car but I stopped and looked at Shane while breathing heavily.
"What if they don't like me?"
"Quit quoting movies and lets go!"
"I just laughed at him because I cant believe he had caught me so quick with my joke. Can't get anything past the queen of everything.
"Ok let's go!"
"Wait though! Like for real..."
I grabbed his arm before he could open the door.
"I...umm...have never met them and I'm a bit nervous."
"Listen,"
Shane turned to face me and took his hand off the car door handle and grabbed my face at the sides.
"They will love you. But they better not love you too much because, your mine ok?"
"Haha ok."
"You are!"
"I know, babe."
He looked in my eyes and then back at my lips and repeated that for a few seconds before he leaned in to kiss me.
We made out for a couple minutes and we both jumped when we heard the knocking of glass- it was Joey waving his hand telling us to come on as we both stared star struck at the window where Joey was and then back at each other.
"Well, looks like we got caught!"
I smile and then I open the door but not all the way- I take a deep breath and then opened the door and waiting for Shane to walk around the car before I walked in. We grabbed hands, and then we walked in, confidently.
