Chapter 55 LIKE THE MOON

"WE WEREN'T EAVESDROPPING!" sigaw ni Allen

"Oo nga, pala..palabas kami!" sabi ni Nathaniel na natataranta

"Sit" I commanded them and they ran sa couch at umupo sa tabi ni Bryce na nanood. I went in front of them and I turned off the TV, I crossed my arms across my chest and glared at them.

"You.followed.me" I said in gritted teeth at umiwas sila ng tingin.

"Hindi ah!" sabi ni Jason

"I.saw.it" sabi ko

"Ikaw kasi," bulong ni Jason kay Nathaniel

"Bakit ako?" tanong ni Nathaniel

"Shut it!" I exclaimed at nagulat sila.

"Sorry" sabi nilang lima.

"Now, explain to me why you hate Kyle" sabi ko and nagulat silang tumingin sa akin.

"Did..did he tell you something?" Asked Kurt.

"And what is that something?" I asked.

"Ano ang nalalaman mo?" asked Bryce and he leaned forward while looking coolly at me.

"Gangs, Kyle, you, class 3F" I said and they all looked away, except for Allen, of course.

"What's happening?" bulong ni Allen kay Kurt.

"Shh" sabi ni Kurt sa kanya and he nodded.

"Ano na ang gagawin mo ngayon?" tanong ni Bryce

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Ano'ng gagawin mo ngayong alam mo ang tungkol sa gang?" he asked, "will you run away?"

"wWhat!!??" I asked looking at him horribly, "why would I do that!!?"

His facial expression relaxed and he looked away.

"You don't understand why I'm upset, do you?" I asked them and no one answered.

I sighed.

"I waited for you guys to open up to me, I know something is up tot you guys-except you Allen-, but I didn't pry, kasi I know na you will tell it to me someday. Pero ang tagal na nating nagsasama, and nagsama pa tayo sa iisang bahay. But still you didn't trust me with that information. It sucks na sa iba ko pa nalaman"

No one spoke.

"I don't care if you guys are members of a gang, or mafias, or kahit ano pang grupo, you are my friends and I accept everything about you just like how you accepted me. I know I am being a hypocrite here-"

"No you are not" sabi ni Nathaniel.

I breathed in and out and no one spoke.

"And you thought I'll run away. I thought you guys know me well?"

Silence.

"Wala? Walang magsasalita? Fine" sabi ko and I stepped away from them.

"Where are you going?"

"To get some air!!" I shouted at them and I went outside.

Madilim na kaya ayaw kong lumabas sa gate, kaya sa may pool ako pumunta. I removed my sandals and soaked my feet sa water and relaxed.

I am so upset. So akala talaga nila aalis ako? Na I'm like the others? Wow ha, to think na almost one month na kaming magkakasama and we are living in one house.

I sucked a breath nung may dumapo sa shoulders ko but I relaxed when I realized na jacket lang pala. Then Bryce sat beside me at isinawsaw niya din yung mga paa niya. I looked around to see if the others went out too but it was only Bryce.
