********VERONICA'S P.O.V******
It was midnight and I still could not sleep. I always am a one to sleep early but don't know why couldn't I sleep today. I kept tossing arould in my bed, after a long time I was weirdly feeling very content today. I can't sleep? The only thing that I had on my mind was Dylan.
I am very happy today. Not only because I met 'the Dylan Westford ' and got my job but also because my mom smiled for the first time after my father's betrayal. And that I got the job and she smiled. So smiled directly or indirectly Dylan is the person who bought happiness in my life after a long time.
I whispered to myself "Thank you Dylan". Almost just at the same time I heared my phone vibrate and when I saw the message a big smile appeared my face.
Dylan:Did you sleep love?
No. And you?:Me
Dylan:I cannot help but just think about......
Come on plz......: Me
My phone suddenly ringed. And it was Dylan's call. My heat started beating fast. I picked up and said"Yes." He said "Hello dear, I just wanted to tell you that your job starts from tomorrow at 8 am in the morning." in a very tired voice. I just said "Ok!" The he said "Ok bye" and then he hang up. Wow he called me I blushed at that thought.

"Dad please don't go we need you " I said but he had no emotions on his face. He just walked away taking his new girlfriend. My mom fell down on the ground and blood began to flow out from her mouth and nose. It was horrible I was very afraid and atarted shouting in the hope that my dad will look and he didbut showed no concern and sat in the car and drove off. While I saw my mom taking her last breath helplessly .

Suddenly I jolted up and my eyes were wide open, and I could feel the warm water flowing through my cheeks. It was a dream , a horrible dream. I can't efford to loose my mom I really can't she is the only person I have in my life.
I searched for my phone and my time showed 3 am. I knew that after that i couldn't sleep so i got up and started to read a book that could help me for my job.

Dylan POV
I was very frustrated as usual. But today I was more angry ,more than I usually am because one of my man tried to betray me. He was working for Zachary whom I hate the most. Zachary would get all the information of my next project if I didn't catch that man talking to Zachary in the phone.
I don't know why this is always behind me me. When ever I want to do something evil this mafia Zachary will always come in between. I had been doing this in almost all my plans but now its just enough I can't take him anymore.
Suddenly my phone rang up and I saw that its my dad. I hate the thing that everyone thinks that I am afraid of my dad but the actual thing is that i obey him and respect him and am not at all afraid of anything in the world not even death. I picked it up and my dad said"Hey! How is Veronica?Did she accept your job?" I said with a smirk "Yes. I allowed her to joint the job."
" Did u impress her?"
"Are you really asking me that?"
"Ok fine. Dod you called her after that ?"
"No. Why would I?"
He shouted "You slut I told you to act nicely with her and make her feel special. U must make her feel that you are very desperate for her and u really fall for her."
I said sadly "Ok. But why are we doing this? We have nothing to do with her then why her?"
"Just shut up. How dare you talk to me like that I am your father don't ever try to go against me and do as I order you to"
Saying this he hang up the phone.
Oh my god! Only I know how horrible I felt to talk to that annoying creature and moreover its midnight and I hope and pray that she does not reply my text. But how can I forget that she can never give me peace. Now after all of the hard work I have to do the hardest work, act infront of her to be good and polite through the midnight texts and calls.
"If only she knew how bad and evil I am" I thought to myself. I had only one thing going on my mind as the was talking towards my room that I can't held this act anymore and I have to marry her as soon as I can in order to end up all this act.
Before going to my room the called Damon and told him to take that betrayer to my office and to make sure that they take care of that man before I visit him to give him a special boze tomorrow.
I went in the room and changed into my comfy boxers before falling into my soft bed as my muscular and perfectly tanned body sinked inside my bed all I wanted was to close my eyes but disappointedly I texted that 'beauty-from-outside-evil-from-inside' girl Veronica. She don't at all seemed like evil she seemed so sweet and innocent and beautiful to me but I know that my father cannot be wrong.
After texting I called her to tell her the time for her job and went deep into sleep.
