The next day at school.

"Class," Mrs. Barton told Natasha and Milo's class. "Today is cold and icy. So don't forget to wear your coats and mittens!"

"We know Mrs. B," a boy said from the back of the class. "We are in 4th grade, not kindergarten." Natasha glared at the boy. "That is not nice Jack," Mrs. Barton said. "You just earned doing math problems during recess."

"Oh come on Mrs. B! Really?"

"Haha! Jack's in trouble!"

"Oh can it Natasha!"

Natasha held back a chuckle. Milo slipped her a piece of paper from across the table.

Well done Tasha!

Milo smiled as he watched Natasha scribble something down.

Thank you Mele Milo!

Natasha handed it back to Milo. He scribbled something down and handed it back to her.

Still can't spell my name write.

Natasha laughed out loud. "Ms. Agreste," Mrs. Barton said. Natasha looked up with surprise. "You just earned yourself math as well."

"Haha!" Jack laughed. Natasha just frowned and crossed her arms. "See you Milo," she said. "I could stay with you," Milo said. "No, just go," Natasha replied. Milo slowly slumped out of the doorway into the outside world.

Milo was glumly walking around the playground when, out the corner of his eye, he spotted a girl looking at him from behind a tree. Milo turned his head to look closer. But when he did, the girl ducked behind the tree again.

Milo walked over and peeked behind the tree and say Creepy Callie shivering behind the tree. "Hey. Are you ok?" Milo asked her. She looked up at Milo, pink tipped nose and ears.

"Do I look ok Milo?"

"Hey I was just asking a question!"

"Oh, no Milo! I wasn't meaning that in a mean way. I was actually asking. Do I look ok?"

"Oh ya. You look fine. Just...um...cold."

Milo was sitting down next to Creepy Callie. He notice Callie was shivering more and more. The snow was coming down hard. "Here," Milo said, taking off his coat and putting it around her shoulders. She looked at him. "But then you will be cold," she told him.

He just shrugged and put his arm around her, trying to keep her from catching a cold. Then a thought came toMilo. "Hey," he asked her. "What's your name?" The girl turned and smiled. "My name is H..." the bell rang to indicate recess was over. Callie jumped up and ran toward her classroom, still wearing Milo's coat on her shoulders.

Back at class.

"How was it spending all of recess with Jack?" Milo asked Natasha, smirking. "Have you two started dating yet?"

Natasha lightly punched Milo in the shoulder. "Ya. As if! I will NEVER fall for that jerk!" Natasha said. Milo just laughed at his friend's response. "Hey," Natasha asked. "Where is your coat?"

"Well...I gave it to Creepy Callie because she didn't have a coat," Milo said. Natasha laughed. "So Milo, you have a new friend now, huh?" Natasha smirked. "Oh come on Natasha!" Milo said, disappointed in his friend. "You know I like you!"

"Ya. When we were in kindergarten!"

"Uh...don't remind me!"

"Remember in second grade you told me that you liked me," Natasha laughed. Milo shrugged. "Ya...well...that crush passed," he said. "As far as I know!" Natasha said, laughing. Milo just smiled and laughed too.
