Chapter Two

~ Chapter Two ~
- Hebi's POV -

I was in the pilot's seat of the pod, Chi next to me, she had fallen asleep while the rest of them were watching Naruto, D Grey man, and Full Metal Alchemist in the back of the pod. She had fallen asleep watching Tokyo Ghoul, she must've been so tired from all the running.

Owari came in the cockpit "So where are we?"

"So are about a few hundred light years from Pluto" I answer, my eyes were tired. (Note the ship they are in is faster than light)

" Oh wow" he says, chewing on some bread. The pod was jack full of food when we got here.

"And by the way, if Chi saw you eating that, she would have your he-" I was stopped by Chikyu's head shoring upwards, her eyes wide, but not normal.

When she spoke it sounded scary, " a tree branch can't move without the whole tree, even to go home" she then blinks a few times, "what happened"

"you kind of said weird stuff about a tree" Owari said

" Not even gonna ask" she mumbled, laying her head on her arms.

'she never changes does she' I think.

" Hey guys" Owari says, interrupting my thoughts.

In front of us was a huge ship, a pirate ship to be right. I grab the handle of the ship and real it around, turning it to the right, "NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE" I nearly shout.

" Hebi, why is the- ahhh" Kaishi squeaks.

" Sis!" Owari calls, running back to her, "uh guys why do we have three people on here!?" he calls again

"wha- I'm not even going to ask" Chi says, annoyed.

She gets up to check on them, "hey it's the three people next door!" she shouts, "Hey Mrs. Lang, Mr. Lang"

I hear other chatter as the purple haired girl gets in the copilot seat, "By the way, I'm not married to Yin,or Mr. Lang as you call him, my last name is Kagami" she calls back, then turns to me"Hi I'm Murasakino"

" Hebi" I say.

"Ah a snake" she mews.

" Ya it means snake, you gotta problem with that?" I ask

" Nah it's just there's this manga where a character is called Snake" she explains.

"Oh Black Butler?" I ask

"Yes! I used to read it" she says.

"Cool" I say

We talked for a bit, apparently they had snuck on the escape pod to get away because of powers, just like us. We were still running from the pirate ship, it was far away though. Murasakino had taken over the driving with that Yin guy, they seemed to be close friends.

Ad I walked into the main seating area I see, Allen (as I'm told is his name) and Owari in the corner talking, Kaishi and another girl, with black hair, talking, and two other people.

"You only said there was three of them!" I yell at Owari.

" oh the other three appeared and I just kept quiet, cuz I didn't want to alarm you, where is the other two?" he answered

"In the cockpit" I say.

The black haired girl sits up, and takes out a camera, "can you record them for me, I wanna get some ship action"

"What the coffee" Chi said, walking into the room from the bathroom.

" Don't know, don't care" I said, walking into the cockpit, setting the camera just at the entrance to watch them. They were just sitting there, Yin had an arm around her shoulder. I can totally see why she'd ship them.

I walk back into the seating area, "so what's you guys names?" I ask.

"Oh I'm Kuroi," the Black haired girl said, "and That's Kage and Yamuri" she points to the other two.

"Good to know, is there any weird things I have to know before I let you all stay here?" I ask.

" Kage and Yamuri are Vamps and Yin is a nine tailed fox, Allen is a Neko, and Murasakino, my cousin, is a Neko fox half breed, I'm just a normal Neko" Kuroi explains.

" That's a lot to remember" I say, blinking.

"Ya but it's facts" Chikyu says, sitting a chair, falling asleep.

"You all are very trusting to us" Kage says, suspiciously

"Well what choice do we have when we are all in an escape pod somewhere in space" I say, tired.

I lay down on a couple of chairs and try to fall asleep, only to be woken up by Kuroi, who was Fangirling looking at a screen, "Shut up" I growl.

"No, ship moment is happening" she squeals.

From the door of the cockpit, a broken, covered in ice, camera is thrown out, "Don't do that again!" Murasakino yells.

After an hour the rest of us, but me, Murasakino and Yin, we're asleep. I twist and turn in the makeshift bed, not getting conformable. So, I get up, and walk to the cockpit to talk to Yin and Murasakino.

"Hey guys" I say as I walk in, they were both looking at the vast range of stars; "Beautiful, right?" I ask.

"Ya, when we were younger I wouldn't have imagined something like this to be right in front of me" Murasakino says, "Ao would've loves this"

"Who?" I ask.

"Oh my brother" She says, "people think of us as twins a lot"

"Yup, every time we meet new people they've been called twins" Yin says, amazed at the stars.

I snort, "Wow you two must look a lot alike"

"Yup, you betcha" she mews, yawning.

"Want me to take over, you guys can get some sleep, or as your cousin said, 'have a ship moment' I don't want to know what that means" I say.

Yins face goes bright red while Murasakino's arms because a rosy red, "why is my cousin such a moron" Murasakino facepalms.

"Don't know, don't care " I say, putting some music on, from my phone.

"...I was never right, for the hero type of role, I admit it, with my heart, shriveling in fear..." the song Crossing Field play. (Translation at the top)
