5 Years Later

AN: as you can understand from the title, this is 5 years later. Cameron graduated from collage a year aga and Daphne also graduated from collage this year and became a famous actress, Cameron on the other hand is a very rich architect working at his fathers firm.

Chapter 23

Cameron's POV

I got up and took a shower. I than wore my tux and fixed my hair. I went out from the house and went in my Bugatti. I went to the firm.

"Hi!" I said to Ashley while taking my morning coffee from her. I walked to my office and sat in my chair. Today a famous celebrity was coming to have a new house made. I was excited.

When I finished my coffee Ashley came in.

"Daphne Grier will see you now." she said and left.

DAPHNE GRIER! WHAT THE FUCK! WAS SHE THE CELEBRITY!

"Hi." A young lady entered the room. I can immediately tell it was Daphne from her hair. I saw her in a movie and two tv shows but never really paid attention.

She looked at me and froze.

"Hi." I said.

She started to smile.

"CAMERON!" she said and ran to me. The last I saw her was after MagCon and I had kissed her and left. She hugged me and I hugged her. She smelled like strawberries.

"Daphne, how?" I asked.

"I didn't know it was gonna be you." she said.

"What have you been doing?" she asked.

"I graduated and came here to my parents firm to work, you?" I asked.

"Well, I went to NYU and they found me there. I got to play in some films and I got a little famous. I want to move from Chino Hills because fans came there and I want some place more special just for myself." she said

"Taylor?" I asked.

"Oh, we had to broke up because we got separated by collage and it didn't work out. April?" She remembered her name.

"We broke up. She cheated on me." I said scratching my neck.

"Okay, I want a new house." She said changing the subject.

"Where, how?"

We talked over two hours. We had the basics on our mind. She told me about the lot she bought and everything.

At lunch we went over to look at the lawn. It was on top of a hill and it had a perfect California view. It was perfect. We went back to the office and talked more. The architect stuff was done but we were just chatting. We laughed and joked until it was night.

"Oh my god, time flew." she said looking out the window and realizing it was dark.

"Yeah." I said getting bummed about her leaving.

"Okay, your hours should be done, I should go. I will see you in a week." She said and started walking out. I took a gaze at her.

She was wearing a white skinny jean with a blue button up and bracelets. She got even hotter, if it possible. she became this creature that you can only see in cartoons, so utterly perfect. Like a touch of magic, no one could be this beautiful.She was wearing sandals because it was summer and she had her perfect hair down to her back with little waves.

"I can take you out to dinner?" I asked after her.

"That would be great." she said and walked to my car. The ride was silent.
