"So. How's you and Taylor?" I asked Max.
"We didn't last long after you left." Max confessed.
"Called it." I muttered. Harvey high-fived me as we took the short walk to their house.
"You- ugh- have probably had a lot of other boyfriends in the two years that we were apart." Harvey assumed. "Like probably Jacob Sartorius, Johnny Orlando, MattyB, umm... Those kinds of people that live in America."
"Blech. Kill me now!" I gagged. The twins shot me a weird glance.
"What do you mean 'kill me now'?" Max asked, laughing.
"I never dated anyone else, no crushes either." I admitted. I saw Harvey's eyes light up, which made me blush. Max threw open their front door and Harvey burst into the entrance way.
"GUYSALYSSA'SBACKANDSHE'SHERETOSTAYANDIT'STHEBESTDAYEVERCOMEANDSAYHITOHER!" Harvey yelled really fast.
"Alyssa? As in the one from when you were 14?" I heard someone, who must have been Mrs. Mills, ask.
"Yep!" Harvey confirmed. Tilly came running into the room squealing and screaming.
"Alyssa's back! Your girlfriend's back!" Tilly cheered.
"Your brother and I broke up, remember Tilly?" I asked.
"Oh yeah." she sighed. "Alyssa's back!"
"And i'm here to stay!" I announced. Tilly squealed and hugged me tightly.
"Why don't you guys leave the entryway, it's not an open floor plan and I bet Alyssa wants her space." Mrs. Mills suggested. We all shuffled out of the entryway and Mrs. Mills walk up to me. "It's so nice to see you, sweetie. We've all missed you." she said, giving me a hug. When she finally let go of me she started yelling. "Paul, Leo, get down here!". Mr. Mills and Leo scrambled down the stairs.
"Oh. Isn't that Alyssa from like, five years ago?" Leo asked.
"Yep." Max chirped happily.
"Goodbye I can't deal with this bitch right now." Leo muttered, walking away.
"Leo didn't turn out so good..." Harvey explained. I nodded. Before, when I was 14, I would have ended up crying if someone said that, but now, i've been called worse. Especially at my old school.

The voices that the kids said when I left rang in my head. Over, and over, and over, and over, not stopping. I faked a smile, which I was really good at.
"You should probably get home, Alyssa." Mr. Mills warned. I nodded and left.
