I woke up and stared in the mirror. I stared at my hair and considered something. Too late my mind was made up. I got dressed, did my hair and teeth, and rushed out the door. Breakfast can wait. I ran the best I could. Considering I was in heels, I ran pretty well.

I was happy with the way it turned out. I walked to the Starbucks right next to the salon. I stood in the extremely long line. I took out my phone from my pocket where it was hiding and opened up Snapchat. I heard someone clear their throat. I looked up from my phone and a girl slightly shorter than me stood there. You have not seen sytreotypical California girl until you've seen her. She had long, wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, and was wearing a crop top, shorts, and a flannel wrapped around her waist. She had a hoverboard in her arms.

"Hi, um you kinda look like one of my favorite celebrities, just with a different hair color and it's really pretty." She said in the most innocent, nervous voice ever.

"Who's your favorite celebrity?" I asked.

"Alyssa Lunudon."  She said. Oh my god I'm dead.

"That's me, I just dyed my hair today!" I said. She started freaking out.

"Can I please have a picture?" She asked, holding out her phone. I nodded and we took a selfie. She smiled and walked away to the back of the line. When it was finally my turn, I ordered a cotton candy frappuccino. I waited and went back to Snapchat. I looked at the twins' story. Nothing different from the usual. Hanging out with their family, playing sports, music. I relaxed and my name was called with my frappuccino. I picked it up off the counter and walked off, taking random sips. I walked home and opened the door.

"Hey, Alyssa!" My mom called from the kitchen. "I have a surprise for you!"

"I have one too!" I told her.

"Ooh show me!" She called. I nervously walked to the kitchen. I looked around and spotted donuts on the table. "Your surprise is better." my mom admitted, running her fingers through my hair.

"Do you not like it?" I asked nervously.

"It's pretty, I'll give you that." She said. I grabbed a donut and went up to my room, eating it.
