So another few weeks pass, and it was beggining to snow. Cobalt and Obsidian began to fetch logs for a fire.
"Wh-what is this stuff? It's cold..."
Emerald observed.
"It's called 'snow' and it only occurs on the planet Earth." I answered.
"Woah." he marveled.
"Also, you can do this," I said, as I scooped up some, formed a ball, and chucked it as hard as I could at Amber. It landed with a PLOP right in their face.
"Oh, it's on!" they say, as they summon their shield.
"Hey!" I laughed. " That's not fair!" I speed-walked over so they missed me, and they managed to hit Emerald. I stopped... He fell back, and... Started laughing uncontrollably.
"Come on, lil bro! Get on my shoulders!"
By that time, Cobalt and Obsidian had noticed, and the joined the fight. This went on for some time, until...
. . .
"Sellie, I'm tired..." Emerald yawns to me.
"Okay, we'll go sit by the fire."
We meander over to the fire and plop down on a log.
"So, why were you in this tree by yourself?" I asked.
"O-oh... Well, I was taken by some rebels who ransacked Yellow Diamond's base. The gem that took me was a Howlite."
I interject with a gasp.
He continues, "She took me to this stump and forced me to stay here. Then they just... Abandoned me. That very same day, you guys came here and found me."
As soon as he finishes his story, a bright yellow ligh fills up the whole sky, followed by a blue light, then a white one. They were... Hand Ships.
"Oh, god. It's the Diamonds..."
Amber mutters, terrified.
"C-Come on, guys! We've got to help the others!" I shout.
"But what about Emerald?! He's too young to fight!" Cobalt yells to me.
"We... I'll fuse with him. Amber, are you okay with this?"
"Yes."
So I did the spin with Emerald as fast as we can and we form Chalcedony.
"Maybe you two should fuse, too." Amber insisted Cobalt and Obsidian.
"A-are you sure? You'll be alone!"
Obsidian objected.
"I'm sure. As long as I'm with you, I'm never alone."
"O-okay." Obsidian whimpers.
They form Azurite and we take off. Emerald and I start moving so quickly that we begin to hover..?
"Slow down!" Amber cries.
We stop and reply, "Here, maybe I'll just hold you." Chalcedony says. We hold Amber like a groom would hold a bride.
Azurite is side-by-side with Chalcedony and we arrive to the battlefield.
There's already many gems strewn about, fighting for their cause.
