chapter 6: into the city.

Hey guys again i want to say thank you for over 200 reads!! It makes me so incredibly happy and it's what i look forward to on sundays wednesdays and fridays! I hope you are falling in love with the characters as much as i am let me know who your favorite character is.. You do have to *awkward face* Okay enough talking back into the story where we last left off!!

We are leaving, i know that i shouldn't care so much about this but this place is home to me, or i mean the closest thing we have to a home.

"Queen are you ready." Dante suddenly asks popping up behind the door

"Oh! Good you're awake. Yes im ready." I'm ready. New base, make the most of this situation.

"Yes ma'am" he says running back inside the house.

I run to my room quickly grabbing my bag and setting a flower on the bed kissing my fingers and touching the door, closing it. I suddenly see Kishi with Eira also closing their door with a backpack on, Eiras has a few things falling out because it is so stuffed, while Kishi on the other hand looks like she put almost nothing in hers.

"Here Queen." Marcella said from behind me, i spin around catching my C5K gear almost dropping it

"You alright queen?" Marcella asks me with a look of concern on her face.

"Oh me? Yeah i'm fine just have a bad feeling in my gut." i says truthfully, there is something fishy going on here, i just feel it.

"Rosaline let's go we are leaving!!" KIshi yells upstairs with a small hint of sadness in her voice before throwing that motion away and going back to her normal self. She must not be happy leaving too.

Soon Rosaline and dante run down the stairs catching their breath 'mhm suspicious' i say to myself walking out the door taking a long hard look at the house that we were leaving behind. It was probably going to be raided by other teams for supplies. Then most likely was going to be abandoned for years and years to come. I would have to come visit every once and awhile to keep things nice and tidy. Before i knew it everyone was off the ground with their gear waiting in the air for me.

"I think i saw one while i was exploring two hours south let's check it out!" Marcella yells the wind getting hair into her mouth every time she opened it.

"Good idea lead the way!" I yell back to her. She nods her head going twice as fast as she was before all of us following her actions.

I look behind me to see dante and Eira falling behind it looks like there's something wrong with Eiras gear. He send off a red flare before smoothly falling to the ground looking at his gear.

"Guys! split up, Marcella Kishi and Rosaline go to the new base Come back in an hour if you find it is you don't find it in a hours turn around and come back!" i yell before turning around and falling to the ground where Eira and Dante are.

"Hey what happened!" i yell My feet touching the ground.

" The string snapped i must have been going too fast for it to handle." He says opening up his gear and looking around for a bit.

"Not much around , we may have to go into the city and get some new rope." he says a little worried. The city isn't the best place to go with a new guy, but also not safe to go into with only two people.

"Well it's up to you queen, I brought the walkie talkie so you can tell Kishi the plan, I gave her one too." He says cokily knowing that it was a good idea to bring the walkie talkie.

"Let's go to the city, We will stay on feet but if we need Dante will grab you, though it shouldn't get that serious." I say catching the walkie talkie that Eira threw to me.

"Kishi change of plans, Eiras gear broke so we need to go to the city, We will let you know the plan when we get that far." I say into the little microphone.

"Yes queen we see the maybe new base so we amy check everything out and  make sure no one in here." she says quietly.

We start walking to the city that was only a five minute walk, Most of this world was the city.

Eira was complaining that he wants to see the new base and that if he could just "borrow" Dantes gear so he can go check it out.

"Plus this place isn't exactly the best to be just walking around at, i have a weird feeling about this."

Eira says. It was true this place isn't very good to be on foot and sense the sun was about to set we were in a more vulnerable position.

"What is wrong with the city, other than how broken down it is it looks fine. No sane team would make their base her, it's not very smart." Dante says under his breath.

"Yea your right, other than one thing not everyone in this world has a team and those people are called rogues. The never got a team so they stay in the city and prey off of other "humans" who walk into it." i tell him as i am walk into a small abandoned store.

"They may have stuff in here." i mumble lightly touching the old, dusty objects.

"Found some!!!! It looks right so i'm going to take some extra just in case it breaks again." Eira yells across the small store.

"Don't be so loud."

"Oh! Oh.. sorry." he mumbles under his breath.

"Dante grab some water and meet us outside." i say to him walking out of the store. He walks out with his backpack full of water and what i think is candy.

"You know that stuff is centuries old right." i hear Eira sya laughing till their was tears in his eyes.

"Lets go Kishi and marcella are waiting for us." i commaned swinging myself into the air high enough so i could see the entire forest, that honestly wasnt that big compared to the city right next to it. I pull myself higher and higher till i finally see the new base that Marcella was talkibg aboyt.

It was covered my an umbrella of trees and was very hard to see. That was good. I fall back to the ground turning around to tell Eira and Dante that i know hwere the Base is and to follow me , the nodded and did what was told and we spent the rest of the time walking in scilence, it was nice.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY THEY FINALLY GOT THE NEW BASE... OR DID THEY?!?!?!?!? *MANIACLE LAUGH*.

So anyways hopefully you liked that chapter and it was exciting, the chater will soon start picking up in action in a few days but for now i still need to introduce charecter and ideas.
