Chapter 5

~|Heart to heart|~

The school day had finished with the sound of the screaching bell and students' chatter. You quickly packed your bag and rushed out of the room to find your brothers waiting for you in front of your classroom just like usual.

You gave them a cheerful smile but they only returned you with a weak grin and some didn't even smile at all.

You furrowed your brows as the nervousness feeling sunk into your heart. Normally they would greet you with a wide smile and open their arms for you to run into, but this time they just stuffed their hands in their pockets and their faces all drained with annoyance or tiredness.

It didn't stop you from running toward them with your arms wide open though. You ran to Hoseok and gave him a hug but he didn't return the favour, instead he just stood there and waited for you to let him go.

"Oppa?" You looked up at him with your arms still wrapped around his ripped frame.

Your most cheerful brother with the brightest smile just gave you a grin and looked down at you, half heartedly, shooting a bullet to your heart.

"Oppa..." You trailed off and let go of him, sullenly.

"Come on let's go home" Jin sighed and patted your head to cheer you up, but that didn't do the trick this time. The atmosphere in the air that they were giving off was too scary and intimidating.

They all began to walk off and you quietly followed behind them. You didn't know what you've done for them to be upset with you, was it because you had lunch with Bobby and not with them?

If that was the case, then why were they being so childish? You're younger than them but you sure wouldn't act like this if your brothers went to have food with their friends and not with you.

"Nami what shall we have for dinner today?" Jin turned around, stopped walking, and waited for you, so that he would be walking at the same pace as you.

"I don't know, up to you I guess. I'm not that hungry" you mumbled while looking down at the floor.

*At least Jin oppa talks to me...*

You thought in your head as you continued to walk behind your brothers. Jin was walking beside you, trying his best to talk to you and cheer you up. But for you, you would rather all of them talk to you. You hated it whenever your brothers were upset, it wasn't natural for them to be quiet.

It was a long and awkward walk home. It took you half an hour to get home with your brothers walking ahead of you.

You were about to get in the house but you suddenly saw a cute little kitten running towards you. Your face lit up as a smile crept up your face.

"Oppa look, a kitty!" You giggled and rushed towards the white fluff ball with your arms stretched out, ready to pick it up.

"Nami no!" You heard someone yelling your name and the next thing you knew was feeling a stinging pain all over your hands as red blood oozed out of the two small hole on your right hand.

The cat had scratched your hands and bit into it, making you bleed. It was only two small holes yet the blood won't stop coming out. You widen your eyes at the sight as tears began to run down your pale cheeks.

"Nami!! Are you alright?!" Your brothers rushed towards you, bewildered. They swamped around you, asking if you were alright or not.

As you looked at them one by one you, saw thier mouths moving but you couldn't hear anything except your heavy heartbeat. Your vision began to blur while your body sway a little by the weakening of your knees.
