I look at my brothers and say, "Guys I've been best friends with Jacob for a long time now, and it's hard not to be with him. I know I can't have him as a boyfriend but I wanna at least have him as a friend. But at the same time he hurt me, broke me. I've never felt like this before." I manage to say without crying.
"Mia." I hear Jacob's voice. I turn my head and he's standing by the door. "I'm sorry, I don't deserve you. I'll just go." He says as he olds his luggage and bags.
"How much did you hear?" I ask.
"All of it. But I can't even stay here, knowing that I hurt my best friend like that." He says and starts walking away. I run and jump on his back.
He starts laughing a little but then says, "Mia if I go now I can catch a plane."
"I don't want you to go while we're fighting, we may never text again and then I'll totally lose you." I say frowning, I add, "-and I'm not getting off."
"Let's talk this through." He says and I nod and jump off.
