Revenge of the Unknown

Chapter 3

Y's POV

I looked over at everyone and gave W a nod right before I turned invisible. Right as I launched myself forward I noticed everyone behind me going as well.

I looked for the most open target, ran up to her and punched her in the face, disorienting her. I really loved being able to turn invisible, especially their reactions when you snuck up on them. I looked up, momentarily forgetting what I was doing, and noticed the chick I punched staring at me creepily. What the heck is she doing? Then I started feeling really dizzy and confused and didn't remember where I was. I looked up and saw a furious red head throwing her fist at my face when I remembered where I was and realized I had turned visible.

I quickly knelt down,dodged her punch and I uppercutted her in the chin. She stepped back slightly and I took the opportunity to push her to the ground when she grabbed my hand and flipped me over on my back. I tried to shake off the disorientation and got up but that chick jumped on me and was about to punch me right in the nose when she quickly shot across the room. I looked over and saw U holding out his hand as he finished using his telekinesis on her. He walked in front me and held out his hand

“Looked like you were getting your ass kicked, Y,” U smirked as his sky blue eyes twinkled with amusement.

I grabbed his strong hand and thrust myself up as I mumbled, “I was not..”

He laughed and said, “You are too cute,”

“Whatever, let's just finish this up,” I said turning around towards the entrance of the lounge.

“Everybody, stop what you're doing right now!” the guards yelled as they burst through the doors. Everyone sighed, disappointed.

“This better not happen again, or there will be consequences. Now, everyone out!” the main guard threatened as we settled down.

“Some fight, huh,” Z said as she walked up to me.

“I know right! We barely even got started,” I sighed.

“It didn't look like you were even going anywhere,” U smirked at me again.

“Shut up..” I said fighting a smile as I shoved him before he laughed and walked away.

“So Z, this chick I was righting had some weird mind control power. She was pretty strong too! I'm kinda worried about this new division..” I said warily.

“Wow, I just fought some black haired crazy chick. She was really scary! But I totally beat her,” Z smiled as we all started to leave the lounge.

W's POV

“I can't believe we didn't get to really fight them,” I said to Y. We were back in our room laying on our beds.

“I know, right! The guards are so stupid. They always break up the tiniest fights,” she said as she rolled her eyes.

“Yeah, we just gotta finish that fight soon, cause I do not want them acting like they own the place anymore,” I said angrily.

“True, hey we should go swimming and forget about this!”

“Alright,” I shrugged as we got up to get ready.

After about an hour of messing around at the pool, I got out of the water because Y was just flirting with U. I walked over and grabbed my towel when I saw Q sitting on a bench by himself.

“Hey,” I said as I walked up to him.

“Hey,” he said, distracted.

“What's up? You don't look like you're having much fun,” I said sitting next to him.

“It's nothing,” he shoved it off as he combed his hand through his slightly curly, light brown hair.

“You sure?”

“Yeah, I guess.”

“You don't sound so sure. Hey, let's go get some ice cream and talk some more, okay?" I suggested hoping he would say yes.

“Alright,” he said as we got up.

After we ordered our ice cream, we sat down across from each other in one of the booths at the cafe.

“So what's wrong?” I asked again as I took a bite from my ice cream.

“Nothing really,” he said looking out the window. “I've just been thinking a lot, that's it.”

“Whatcha thinking about?” I asked nonchalantly, hoping he would say something.

“I'm telling you, it's nothing,” he said aggravated as he shoved a spoonful of his ice cream into his mouth.

“Fine,” I sighed. “So you wanna go canoeing once we finish our ice cream?” I asked, trying to lighted the mood.

“Yeah, that sounds fun, but this time no tipping me over,” he smiled looking into my eyes.

“Fine, if you insist..” I laughed.

“All letters report to the testing center immediately,” the loud speakers blared.

“Looks like it's time to go,” I said, disappointed.

“What do you think they want?” Q asked curiously.

“I don't know,” I replied. “I just hope that we don't have to get experimented on again.”

“Yeah,” Q said as we got up to leave.

As we were walking to the testing center, I saw X.

“What's going on?” I asked as I walked up next to her.

“We have no idea, no one does.” she replied.

“Division A. Please come into the testing center. All other divisions may resume what they are doing,” the loud speakers boomed again.

Everyone looked over to me and I nodded for us to go in.
